He's admitted to being open to returning and it interested.
Will he be a good/successful hire?
Will he be a good/successful hire?
He is a good x's and o's person and a tremendous motivator. He is however horrible at evaluating talent. So if hired the Raiders will do well his first year and slowly migrate into a mediocre team.
I think for the Raiders is a great move, the #1 priority for them is to get Carr back on track, and thats what Gruden does best
Part of it was drops, the defense still sucked and I don't think he's been 100% since returning from the injury last year.
Part of it, the other part seems like a confidence thing, he became the master of the dumpoff this season, almost afraid to let it loose downfield
Gruden will fix all that
I think he is vastly overrated, although he talks a great game.
His record as a head coach is 95/81 (540 winning percentage) and in the playoffs 5/4. He did win a SB with Herm's team.
I voted not sure. Look the Tampon Bay Super Bowl was not Gruden that was Dungy that put that together. can Gruden coach? Sure will he work no one knows.
What is not true?Thats not true, that Raider offense was a machine that season, and I remember John Lynch saying that Gruden prepared that defense to be ready for every single play they ran that day, Tampa shut them down like no one else that season
What is not true?
