Hey, I'm sure he's learned a lot since he squeaked out two winning seasons in 6 years.woah, Oregon hired him?
Good recruiter, not so great coach.

Sounds like a guy who should be given some bs coaching title so he can recruit. Bench coordinator, or some shit.I'm not even talking about the FIU stuff - He's not even a good position coach.
He came to Alabama as an OL coach for a few years after FIU. Our lines took a step back. 2012 was probably our best O-Line ever - the year before him, and our line still hasn't been back to what it was since. Some people blame the current guy, but many say it's because they are still rebuilding after Mario. I have no clue, but I know it was better before he came.
He was a great recruiter for us however.
I think there is a couple parts to it. 1 being the recruiting. can hopefully hold together some of the class especially heading into a big visit weekend and early signing.I'm not even talking about the FIU stuff - He's not even a good position coach.

it was florida international. I dont even think that counts as a directional school. they had only been playing football about 5 years before he got there. not sure many coaches would have done well.Hey, I'm sure he's learned a lot since he squeaked out two winning seasons in 6 years.

Can't really say. I know people were laughing at Clemson when we named Dabo head coach and I think that's turned out OK.
No, but he wasn't even respectable, and he brought in some good recruiting classes for not just FIU, but the sunbelt (according to wikipedia anyway). He was fired for christ sake.it was florida international. He stole Alabama's recruiting coordinator, very rude.
He's gone after the bowl game no matter what. Cristobal is a damage control move. You may salvage part of the class and the current players who are just seeking a easy transition campaigned for him, but this creates a mess down the road. Enjoy.im not fully on board I wanted Leavitt.
Such an oregon move, sacrifice the future to salvage a few recruits. He's gone after the bowl game no matter what. Cristobal is a damage control move.
