Not 80%. If offered a fair deal and it gets turned down you still blame the organization. Its not about KC being greedy?

Dean, you been hanging on that "Fair Deal" statement as your out clause for two years now. A FAIR Deal next off season is going to be in the $27-30M a year average range. And its not about being greedy, its about what the position is paying at that time. They could have had Cousins for a FAIR deal this off season, but they lowballed him again.

We never got a number this offseason so that point is moot. I don't see another lowball coming.

Didn't need one. It was confirmed that the Redskins offered guaranteed money that was only equivalent to the what he would get by playing on tags thru 2018. That was insulting & didn't even deserve a response. They tried to fool everyone by focusing on the overall contract amt which doesn't mean much in the NFL.

Again - if the organization chooses to keep playing games w/Cousins they are going to lose him and likely set a precedent where they might pull this crap with other players moving fwd. This is one where Allen just needs to step out of the way & stop trying to be so clever.

Don't even start with me MR. excuse. Doctston deserves all the credit on that play. The way you and others talk says that KC was right on target. Doc had his man beat. IF he doesn't make that play that would of have been on KC. IF he drops the ball of course you would blame Doc and not KC for the throw. That is just a given. To this day you guys don't realize that was one of the greatest catches in Redskins history.

IF we lost the game socal you already had your built in excuse is was the olines fault. So why even bother commenting when KC is basically given a pass no matter what b/c of the oline injuries.

Even Kiem said in his recent article that KC was missing throws when he had time. You are going to debate that too of course.

He wasn't that open when the ball was released.

I think you have to look at the circumstance. Is losing to GB at the beginning of the year with Rodgers, the same as losing to GB with Hundley? Is the Rams losing to us in week 2 the same as Seattle losing on Sunday? There are a number of ways to look at it.

No matter how they finish, I think the Eagles and Rams have proven to be legit. A key injury and they look bad later in the season. Even the Chiefs were dominant at the beginning of the season but Hunt is already wearing down. Is our loss early to them the same as a loss now, other than simple record?

No, there's really only one way to look at it. The way in which it was originally set up which was to tally up all after the conclusion of the reg season. It doesn't matter though. It didn't even put a speed bump in Stafford's path far as him getting paid and his W/L record against .500 teams or better is outright horrible.

I am referring to how we look at it. We have to take into consideration circumstance.

This rationale ^^^^^ makes no sense and really only serves to show how ridiculous your argument is.

Here is the Doctson pass. Notice when KC releases the ball, Doctson is even with the defender...he didn't have him beat.

Also, notice where Doctson is regarding position on the field. After KC releases the ball, Doctson actually moves closer to the sideline before having to track back inside for the diving catch. Had Doctson remained on his original path, it likely would have been a pass he could catch in stride.

No...KC wanted a fair market deal. He was already on a 24 million dollar contract because we tagged him. Essentially, BA offered him a one year extension when the actual contract offer was made.

Well - I hope that you are correct about Allen. This is why I am maintaining that whether Cousins gets extended primarily falls on the Redskins & not Cousins. I truly believe that KC wants to stay in DC. However if the Redskins get cocky again & believe that they can play games & get him to agree to a relatively low guarantee # then Cousins may feel different.

If I were running the team I would stake Allen's job on how this whole thing works out. Either he extends Cousins or moves on from him & the next QB is rookie of the year & the Skins make the playoffs. Any other result & he is gone. The only exception would be if he offered Cousins a huge deal (including guarantees) & Cousins rejects it (doubtful). Of course another tag is a wildcard.

Of course Snyder views things differently & rumor has it that he will retain Allen regardless because of his ties to certain folks who will help Snyder get the new stadium he craves in the relatively near future. Such is life at Ashburn.

This is the Brian Quick reception. It was a perfect pass. Notice KC can't set up and has to loft it without stepping into it. Had he thrown it inside, Kam Chancellor would have broke it up.

Why does Dean get quiet when I post actual evidence of him being wrong? Why can't he just say, you are right?

you have no idea about situation. Why bother. Did I place blame on KC for Sunday? No. Im simply saying your comment about KC making a good pass to Doc is crazy. Doc made arguably the best catch in Redskins history taking into account the difficulty of the catch, SITAUTION, and what it meant for the team.
what happened on the play before that to quick . if KC doesnt make that throw there is no dox catch

Dean didn't even give credit to Cousins on that play as evidenced by his take on that play:

Even Quick had to adjust to the ball on that last drive.
