For the unknowing..........................this a totally different defense from Week 1 through 5.

DL.................Butler, T. Flowers, C. Marsh
LB..................Hightower. Van Noy, Wise, D. Flowers
CB..................J. Jones, Butler
S....................Harmon, McCourty

Much more athletic and much faster. Can't wait for Wise to come back next year.

To be fair, they played an offense that was shut down by a Miami defense that got torn apart by the Jets offense yesterday

It seems people forget how fickle the NFL can be week to week. Falcons offense was bad yesterday but its a fine line between success and failure. I hate doing the what if game, but there were several key plays that culd have made this game much closer. If Atlanta made both their field goals, and if that DE didn't plant his helmet into TB, then it could have been closer to 13-6 going into the 4th. Who knows how the game would have changed if those three things happened, but honestly I aw the Falcons as an almost there team. If the game is close going into the 4th quarter you never know what will happen.

New England Defense is back Baby

The 500 yards of offense they surrendered to the jets last game feels like years ago

Not sure, but his 3 catches a game has him on pace to have about as good a season as Coby Fleener

Sure, but his blocking is superior to Fleener, and helps to open up the passing downfield.

I had no idea that Coby Fleener was on pace for 1100 yards receiving and 10 TDs. I'm in desperate need of a TE so I'll have to go grab him if he's available.

In before @DirtDirtDirt says this was all about the Pats D rising from the ashes. Tom Brady had nothing to offer for this game. He was carried once again?
Has anyone seen Dirt since the Yankee elimination?
