Chip Kelly would never go to Nebraska.
Why? He went to Eugene didn't he? Nebraska is one of a small number of storied programs in the country that wouldn't take much to get back up to national prominence again.
First off Mike Riley will be the head coach next year for Nebraska. They'll give him 4 years.

Second, just like how Chip wouldn't fit at Texas he wouldn't fit at Nebraska.
Chip is abrasive and combative with the media. Gee, I haven't seen any other Nebraska HC that got away with that before have you? :L

If you mean his offensive philosophy isn't what Nebraska is about well neither is Riley for that matter. I mean Nebraska is interested in winning, not having a really nice guy walking around with a headset on.

I'm sure Chip could manage an offense that would work there. It's about a staff and recruiting.

It's not that far fetched he could be hired there, but then it's kind of hard for anyone to know what Chip wants or thinks or if he is even interested in returning to any college football sideline.

Moos will keep Riley for another year both have the same personality and will be seen at first as a great fit with each other. Also, expect Ernie Kent to be the basketball coach there next season.

If the Quack Attack is faster shouldn't they be better than 4-3 (1-3 in conference) & in 4th place in the division?

@OregonDucks, where would you like to see fats Kelly land? Or are you under the impression that he's gonna wait a couple years to see how that taggart fool works out in eugene?

You don't pay attention to football do you? Oregon is depleted with injuries including their QB who had some Heisman considerations early on in the season. Add that to the Ducks playing a ton of true freshman and this team is young and injured.

I don't wanna hear no shit about injuries. Ohio State won it all in '14 w/ a 3rd string QB. And you mention true freshmen. I think Michigan State starts the most true freshmen in the country & they're currently ranked. So what's Oregon's problem?

What are the odds of that really? 5%? Maybe 10%?

Riley is gone. Why fire the AD mid football season just to keep the same 'nice guy' that isn't winning and doesn't appear to be making progress on getting better? They have 3 wins this year: Illinois, Rutgers, and Arkansas State. That's it. They even lost to Northern Ill ffs. More or less have they been at least competitive in their other losses.

Riley is heading out to pasture after this season. He'll go be nice at home and relax on his paycheck he will keep getting for a few more years.

So Riley will be fired this season and Ernie Kent will never be the basketball coach.
Thanks for the tip.

Oregon doesn't have problems. It's refs, Windows 95, mass conspiracy due to USC sucking, shitty spots on failed 4th down runs, and anything else other than Oregon just isn't good anymore.

They were last weekend.

It was the refs fault the Ducks lost. All those missed pass interference calls and USC made the refs screw Oregon

CHIP KELLY.....not far fetched if you ask me (considering who they just hired as AD)
maybe. Moos was gone by the time Kelly was named head coach. their overlap in Eugene was small.
