But today's kids don't remember the Nebraska glory days. j/s

That's why you get them and their parents on campus for official visits. You show them the trophy room (Conference Championships, NC's, Heismans, Outland's, Lombardi's, etc.). You take them down the hallway with portraits of the All-American's. You show them the facilities.
Kids these days want exposure and to play for a coach who can win.
Their parents want the same, but also want to know their kid will be in a good environment and get a good education to call back on if they don't make the NFL.

Most kids don't have a detailed understanding of every school prior to visiting and considering them. They learn about each before they visit and while they are there. Nebraska may not have been dominating recently, but they still only have 3 losing seasons in 50+ years and have a lot to show a recruit on visits. You don't need to be a college expert to visit one of their home games and see what their crowd is all about.

Get the right coach in there and there is zero doubt they recruit back toward the top. They can do so without x-boxes in each locker.

Counting all the money he conned Colorado, Washington, UCLA out of and coaching high school football last I heard.

Ain't nobody P5 or even G5 that would touch that turd.

Do you suppose Minnesota impresses recruits when showing their national championship trophies from way back when?

Actually RN went on to broadcast with the Pac12 network when it first went on the air and did so well CBS picked him up and now he's on their central football programming.

Rick wasn't my favorite coach, but he's actually pretty good behind a desk. He has a lot more personality and reasonable insight that most of the turds on TV these days. He's right where he should be.

He was literally the only good thing the Pac12N had going for it. After he left I stopped watching their studio shows and I actually follow the Pac12 teams. That tells you just how bad the idiots still there are.

You don't have to look much past that to find why that network is failing. Find some fucking people that have personality and know what the hell they are talking about.

Either you failed to read the entire post, or you're just cherry picking it to troll.

Address the entire post if you want an ounce of credibility.

If population base was the entire factor than Minnesota (5.6 million) wouldn't be (2-4) against Nebraska (1.9 million) since they've been in the Big 10.

3X Nebraska's population and Minnesota is (2-18) against them since Minnesota's last NC (1960).

But is it what Frost wants? Would he really want to try and recruit to Lincoln?

Obviously tougher than it was in the 1990's. But almost every player dreams of some day being the head coach of his alma-mater. He does have the benefit of being in the Big 10 and being able to point out the benefits/glamor of playing against national powers. I think he would go for it.
