We got completing the process after taking away what was blantanty a TD catch to beat Chicago.

We got the red flag debacle against Houston when the RB was BLATANTLY down, but because the challenge flag was thrown, it nullified the scoring play being reviewed. Instead of a short run, it is a 75 yard TD.

We have the Lions finally winning a playoff game against Dallas. Pettigrew is physically assaulted on his route, held twice and the LB never even looks back before bowling over Pettigrew. Instead of 1st down and game over. It is Dallas ball and we go on to lose.

Now we get the TD that wasn't a TD and because they make the wrong call on the field, it cost the Lions 10 seconds and a chance to run another play. Instead of game over, Lions win. It is game over, Lions lose.

They made the right call. The issue is with the clock run off rule.

No they didnt. His knee is definitely not down there and there is a shdow under his lower leg so that is not touching the ground either.

It would have to be 100 conclusive to reverse and it was not.

He has to say that. You cant do anything otherwise in the NFL or you will get even worse after that. PLus now the Lions will probably get sympathy the rest of the year by going along with it. He has nothing to gain by saying otherwise. I am sure our GM will have a talk with Goofdell though.
