They made the right call. The issue is with the clock run off rule.
Yeah I mean he's clearly down . I get the Lions fans being upset but Tate is down and if you don't have the run off you're giving Detroit a free timeout . I'd hate to lose like that too
Not by that angle, what about the other views?
After it is called a TD it must be 100% conclusive.
Jim Caldwell says the refs got the call right.
I saw a still pick shown he's clearly touched, granted you cant see the ball at the goal line, but he looks to be down prior. It was hard to tell anything conclusive from any angle. Thats the whole point really.
Then you dont understand Physics at all.and I am 100% sure I saw his knee down.
I don't know what to tell you man. There's still frameson this thread showing him down and the ball not across and the only people arguing otherwise are Lion favs . Pretty clear . Still sucks for you thoughNo they didnt. His knee is definitely not down there and there is a shdow under his lower leg so that is not touching the ground either.
It would have to be 100 conclusive to reverse and it was not.
I'd love to punch him right in his stupid face. Just to see if he'd bother having a reaction. He has to say that. You cant do anything otherwise in the NFL or you will get even worse after that. PLus now the Lions will probably get sympathy the rest of the year by going along with it. He has nothing to gain by saying otherwise. I am sure our GM will have a talk with Goofdell though.

Poor guy...
Explain?Total fucking bullshit.
The more I look at it, the more it looks 50/50 at best. I thought he was down at first too. When I saw the first replay I thought they were fucked but after watching several more times and I still don't think it was conclusive.
