Honestly, wasn't even sure who this kid was.....3 yrs in minors with a little overall 5 ERA to show for his career, although it appears he had a solid 2nd half with Frisco.

I wouldn't bring him up for squat myself.

He’s gotten good reports on him. Numbers aren’t everything in the minors

I guess Banny going let this one get really out of hand before he pulls Nick.

Mendez will probably be given a good chance to make the rotation. I don't think he is quite ready though.

Can't defend Nick but damn if the offense offers zilch then Nick doesn't matter much.

Odor has killed us tonight.
Odor kills us most nights.

May literally be the worst player in baseball this season.

We may all regret the Fielder and Choo contracts. The Odor deal may be the worst of the bunch.

This may end up being JD's worst move he ever made by signing him to a long term deal.

Ouch. Rangers hopes have taken a hit. Strikeouts are a definite storyline this season. Hate to just live or die by the HR ball

OAKLAND, Calif. -- In the final days of the season, a dramatic race heats up between a certain first ballot Hall of Famer and the Rangers' Rougned Odor.

That's good, right?

No, in this case - with the title of Most Wasteful Run Producer at stake - it is not good at all.

In a fit of failed swings, Odor stranded six runners in the Rangers' costly 4-1 loss to Oakland on Friday night. In doing so, he moved into second in the American League in most runners stranded with 256. He trails the Angels' Albert Pujols, a magnificent player in steep decline, by 10.

The 0 for 3 night dropped him to .185 with runners in scoring position this season, the seventh-lowest RISP average in the AL. With two outs and RISP, it's even a tick lower: .183. And that's for the fifth-most two-out RISP at-bats in the league (71).

Yeah, but in his defense... I got nothing. That's beyond awful.

3.5 back with 9 to play? Definitely not looking good.
