Last time I checked, Green Bay was missing a defense. Outside of a few studs, particularly that of Ha'ha, I'm still not so sure what makes you think they can win games in the playoffs against teams with elite defenses.

There are a few things I have learned about the NFL that seem to be true every year.

1.) Tom Brady wins
2.) Giants will fall short because of their offense.
3.) Broncos will win a lot of games thanks to their defense
4.) Browns and Jets suck. Throw in the Jags as well.
5.) Falcons will go against the expectations

So many people on the Packer bandwagon . I just don't see it. I think they're a playoff team but I don't see how they're any better than last year honestly

An NFC Championship game again? But possibly a bit more luck with the health?

Yep I think that's about right. I'd put them as one of the 3 or 4 favorites in the NFC but not as the top favorite and certainly not a SB winner favorite

When you have Aaron Rodgers, you always have a chance. I'm not really blown away by anything else they have either, but that's why I think Rodgers is better than Brady (not all time, just present tense). He is the team, and they are a tough out when he's on the field. NE could lose Brady and still win 10+ (as we've seen before).

Greeny:
AFC East--NE
AFC North--PIT
AFC South--TEN
AFC West--KC
WC--OAK/HOU

NFC East--NYG
NFC North--GB
NFC South--TB
NFC West--SEA
WC--ATL/PHI
Super Bowl--SEA vs KC

Golic:
AFC East--NE
AFC North--PIT
AFC South--TEN
AFC West--OAK
WC--KC/MIA

NFC East--DAL
NFC North--GB
NFC South--CAR
NFC West--SEA
WC--ATL/MIN
Super Bowl--SEA vs NE

I know everybody thinks these guys are morons and all of that. That's fine, but I love the onions on Greeny taking the Chiefs to reach the Super Bowl. I don't even have them in the playoffs. That is what makes this so fun. We'll either look like a genius or a complete idiot. I can relate to that.

The top of the NFC imo is SEA, ATL, GB, NYG are your DIV winners. I think the south and east will deliver the two WC teams...my picks are TB and DAL.

As far as the playoffs are concerned...it's a crap shoot right now for me....far too many factors can come into play between now and JAN...namely health.

I think ATL has a better team than GB top to bottom, I'm not sold on the DEF improvements this offseason in GB, but as long as they have Rodgers, they have to be respected as a legit threat in the playoffs, home or away.

Seattle looking Super Bowl winning scary to me this season

Wilson looking healthy and bad ass

They have 3 or maybe 4 really capable backs

Graham seems to be back to being Jimmy Graham, and him and Wilson seem to be connecting now

And the defense could be just silly now with Richardson

Yesterday, I blindly went through the entire NFL schedule game-by-game and picked winners. When I went back through and tallied up the wins, I was surprised that I wound up with the Titans with the most wins in the league at 14. So I went back through their schedule to see if I made too many bold upset picks. No, not really; their schedule is cake. They are essentially this year's 2015 Carolina Panthers.

W vOAK *
W @JAX
W vSEA *
W @HOU +
L @MIA
W vIND
W @CLE
W vBAL
W vCIN
W @PIT
W @IND
W vHOU +
L @ARI
W @SF
W vLAR
W vJAX

W When Carolina won 15 in '15, they stole a win in Seattle; a win in Pittsburgh would be the equivalent.

* Home wins against Oakland and Seattle - two playoff contenders - is by no means a stretch. I see OAK and TEN as two pretty evenly matched teams. Seattle is simply not as good on the road as they are at home; they lost to three non-playoff teams on the road last year.

+ A split with Houston is probably more likely than a sweep, but I'm keeping it.

So this is my bold prediction for the season: the Tennessee Titans go 14-2 and secure the best record in the regular season.

p.s. - I have them going 0-1 in the playoffs, though.

AFCE...NE
AFCN...PIT
AFCS...TN
AFCW...KC
WC...OAK/HOU

NFCE...NYG
NFCN...GB
NFCS...ATL
NFCW...SEA
WC...TB/DAL

I think the AFCS and W will be dogfights going down to week 17. IMO ATL is better than CAR or TB, but it's entirely possible for any of the three to win it.

We know the 'Hawks are dangerous at home...if they can get pressure on the QB on the road again...you have to take them serious as SB contenders....they have some tough road games...GB, TN, NYG, DAL...3-1 over those 4 games and I think we're talking about a 1 or 2 seed at the very least...then they become even more scary.

Homefield is absolutely more important to them than most any team for sure...........I still wouldnt like them winning AT any of the big contenders come January, so I agree

Yeah...I like 12 right now as a win total to get the top seed in the NFC...it could be 11 and tie breakers decide it, who knows.

Yes but let's look at the glaring hole that Seattle has had for years shall we ?

What about a porous offensive line that damn near got that beloved franchise QB killed last year?
And what about their wide outs? Sure Doug Baldwin is a bad ass, but what are they gonna do when double coverage is on Baldwin and Graham is also flanked? They have nobody on that other side that demands respect..

I think Seattle has built one of the best defenses around, but unless they plan on scoring on defense or pitching a ton of shut outs , I don't think this offense can handle the pressure!

Agree on the Oline, not so worried about the WR

It's a scheme that's never really that WR dependent, and I think they will maximize the potential of guys like Lockett and Richardson, similar to what they did with Kearse
