“…As the sporting industry exploded in the 1920s, athletic trainers and their charges immediately saw the possibilities of using his research. Even the Big Bambino himself, Babe Ruth, injected himself with extract from a sheep’s testicles, hoping for increased power at the plate (and in the bedroom). He attempted this only once, and it made him incredibly ill; the Yankees covered the story by telling the press that the Babe just had one of his famous bellyaches. Even though the Yankees tend to celebrate all things Babe Ruth, they have never, to my knowledge, had “Sheep Testicles Day” at the stadium.”

Sorry, colored Frank, but you don't have a confession from one George Herman Ruth signed in triplicate, so YOU'RE AN ASSHOLE FOR SUGGESTING THIS!!!

Well to be fair, who hasn't tried that.

You mean, like, when I've mentioned the fact that Stanton's muscles generate so much power that he broke his hand simply by transferring that power to his bat? Or that the exit velocities off his bat are historically remarkable? Those talking points that you ignore? I've never said he's definitively juicing, but suspicion in this day and age is absolutely reasonable. Unless, of course, you're a fanboy who thinks he's defending his friends.

Those are the two things you asked for to justify PED suspicion. If those are only two of them, please list some others for us so I can mock you further.

I never said that you suggested that "EVERY player who has taken PED's has exhibited these traits." I pointed out that most of the players that we know took PEDs exhibited neither of them.

I've never condemned anyone for PED usage. Only brought up suspicions. I'd be perfectly happy if any player was proven completely guilty or innocent in regards to PEDs.

I went back through the thread, and I don't see where you said that to me. Also, you are aware statcast just passed a test phase in 2014, and went into MLB ball parks in 2015.... right? Exit-velo has not been around long. Saying Stanton has recorded the best ever, is basically saying that he has the best "right now". Not a shocker. He's a genetic freak.

The broken hand is kind of a moot point. Hamate breaks happen to golfers too. Lol. It's not all that common, but it does reoccur with athletes who grip/swing a club or bat. Fitness Friday: Beware of the small bone that might cause a big injury - Golf Digest

Clearly, this is all a huuge reach, but hey... at least you're starting to concede now, and TRYING to form an argument. "He's so strong! He must be on roids!"... I'll grade you on a curve, since you're a tad slow. C-... It's a step in the right direction. Good boy!

I guess I don't get what you're arguing point is. Do you even know at this point? Because my stance is; "I think you should have some evidence before you make steroid allegations."..... Is your position that we should not, and accuse anyone we'd like aimlessly?

Those are the two things you asked for to justify PED suspicion. If those are only two of them, please list some others for us so I can mock you further.

Wow... You're actually so unhinged in your rambling, that you're confusing my ACTUAL argument, with the straw-man arguments you've created. So funny! I'm dying laughing.

I cited some more above, specifically. You can find them. I have merely used those as few convenient and tangible examples we can look at. No one said those were "stone tablet" musts. All I've ever asked for is some evidence.

The fact that I've talked about those two exhibited factors in some roid users, does not mean that others cannot go about it differently and use other examples. If you can find ANY kind of tangible evidence that links a player to roids, that goes beyond simply performing well. Go for it...

I never said that you suggested that "EVERY player who has taken PED's has exhibited these traits."

You started reeling off players like Manny, who never saw much of a body transformation. As if it was evidence to the contrary of what I was saying. When, in fact, it was not.

I pointed out that most of the players that we know took PEDs exhibited neither of them.

Hmm... it'd be interesting to go down that list, because I believe you'd be wrong. It would at least be very close. However, that's really neither here nor there.

I've never condemned anyone for PED usage. Only brought up suspicions.

"he's (Stanton) probably on steroids" - Page 2... Your words. Pretty condemning. "Probably on roids" vs "eh... I guess I could see it" are very different things.

Dude, you keep creating straw-mans, spinning this around... When I've made it emphatically clear. I only have one point. Which you ignore, and cannot refute. Refute it, or give it up.

Dispute the following statement, as it's all I have ever brought forth.

"You should have evidence, or at the very least a talking point. When you are accusing a player of steroid use."

Ball is in your court, dunderhead.

Yes!

Finally!

He has finally conceded! He has nothing! Absolutely NOTHING

Never even addressed my ONLY point. Ah, this feels good.

Good riddance, you're a child.

Thames had 27 home runs in AA in 2010 and had a .194 ISO in his rookie season. He also had a .258 ISO in AAA in 2011 (granted it was the PCL).

He's always had power, but plate discipline was an issue (and still kind of is). FWIW, Thames' numbers are bolstered by his absurd April. Pitchers have adjusted since.

I haven't conceded shit, you talking meatball.

You're the one who has painted yourself into a corner with your absurdity. This thread is filled with it for everyone to see.

My points have been made and you've done nothing to refute them. I'm well beyond the point of taking you seriously because you're way out of your depth. You're only mock worthy now.

You're in the deep end, and you clearly need help.
