D.J Swearinger and Zach Brown are the only guys worth mentioning that you added. The Panthers had rookies in their defense and look how that played out for them last year. Terrell McClain has 90 tackles in 7 years, not even 13 tackles a year. Jonathan Allen and Ryan Anderson were good draft choices, 100%. But are you willing to bank the defense getting THAT much better on the backs of a safety who has started 13 games in 2 years and two Bama rookies? The money they overpaid and wasted on Ziggy, McGee and McClain, they could've thrown in D-Jax' face and got him to stay. Yeah he's 30, but he's consistent. Pryor, Crowder, Jackson and Garcon. What a freaking receiving corps! That right there would've been impressive.

A top five pick is no big deal?

With McGee in the game, Oakland gave up a full yard less per carry than without him.

McClain was arguably the best DL for Dallas last season.

No the running game wasn't terrible but they were still 7th worst in the NFC in rushing yards. 7th most fumbles in the NFC. 7th most penalized offense in the NFC. The Skins' defense allowed the most first downs in the NFL last year. They let opposing offense convert 46.6% of their third down tries, the highest percentage in the NFL. The Redskins are a good team on paper, it's the little things they need to get down and be consistent at. Sometimes issues in the front office translate to issues in practice which then translate to issues on the field on gameday. The Cowboys didn't improve that much, but they didn't really need do. Unless there is a sophomore slump in Dak and Zeke, I see some of the same form them this year, not as good, but still better than Washington and Philly at least. The Giants o-line is bad, still, with that bad o-line, they made the playoffs. The Giants didn't just add a shiny WR, they added a guy who is 59 receptions away from 1,000 receptions and everytime he changes teams, his first season is usually a monster year. Yes, he's never played in the playoffs, but that's not his fault. He played for the Bears and Jets who were complete trash (except for the 2012 Bears team), he played for the Broncos when the didn't have a QB or a stellar defense, and the Dolphins who was probably the best team he played for.

I agree with with a good bit of what you said. Stick with facts instead of garbage like our OL is a question mark, particularly when the NYG may have the worst in the entire NFL.

AnD every year of Marshall's career, his team has missed the playoffs.

McClain was the best DL for Dallas? McClain had more tackles than any other DT (only 21) but Maliek Collins (17 tackles, 5 sacks), Tyrone Crawford (16 tackles, 4.5 sacks) and David Irving (12 tackles, 4 sacks) all had more sacks then McClain (2.5). Stacy McGee played 9 games, 14 tackles 2.5 sacks. Those are NOT good numbers idk how you guys are happy about those signings.

Yes, Marshall hasn't made the playoffs, but he's only played for 2 good teams in his career. The 2012 Bears and the 2015 Jets. The fact that the teams he's played for haven't made the playoffs says nothing about him. His stats speak volumes about his play. 6 years with over 100 receptions, 8 years with over 1,000 yards, 4 years with double digit TDs. In my opinion he's a future Hall of Famer and with him and OBJ, that's a tandem to look out for.

i dont know mitz but that reads as you are calling him a MF'r so i dont know why you give me the BS emocicon for saying he shouldnt be called a MF'r . he shouldnt be . then you want to run a guy off for not being educated about our o/line

make your case against him (which you should win easily about the o/line ) but damn you dont think you went a little overboard on a new poster ?

I didn't mean to place the BS emoji on you dad, for some reason I couldn't delete it. It was meant for Terry.

The same "new poster" Terry that predicted the Redskins record in 2017 at 3-13, and 0-6 in the NFCE on the general board post he made.

IMO, the Mf'r is trolling, but it's all good if others don't see it that way. I've been known to troll the Cowboys board when those crazy ass fans get out of line. And, I'm OK with that.

HTTR my brother.

Do a bit more than surf for stats. I don't pretend to watch a lot of Dallas, but I do read a good bit.

If this is true, I may take a step back from conversing with him. I've seen a few of his post where "trolling"
could be something he is either into or would do for fun. Other than some predictions I totally didn't agree with, he didn't do anything offensive, despite being on NFC EAST territory

I've watched games with him and I've see Chris Carter and Ziggy Hood in action as Steelers. They are not defense savers. They are not game changing players. They are not game saving members of any team. They are supporting cast and not good ones.

So since when can someone not be able to predict another teams record without being considered trolling? I don't like the redskins this year. Plain and simple and there no crime in me saying that. Y'all are taking my opinions so personally it's ridiculous and it makes it so we can't debate anything. I've listed my reasons. If you don't like them, that's fine. But saying I'm trolling, calling me a mother fucker and telling me I don't know anything doesn't breed respectable conversation back and forth.

I've been nothing but respectable to everyone in here. I've not seen the same in return from a couple people on here. All because our opinions differ. Its sad because I was expecting Redskins fans to not be like Cowboys and Eagles fans, but y'all are just the same. If you don't hear what you want to hear, you flip out and start name calling.

I wasn't disrespectful to you. I gave you my reasons why I thought the Skins would contend this year. I think some people are mad b/c you didn't consider the coaching changes or Doctson when defending your claims.

You are one of the few that have been respectful to me so thank you for that. I did forget Docston, I admitted that. But I had already said I didn't like the coaching changes.

I have seen a lot of pundits predictions out there. Everyone has us last which I find insulting. The USA today one is just a major hater. If the Eagles finish ahead of us this year that would be a major disappointment.
It'll be a major disappointment for three teams then.

Are you serious?
I certainly wouldn't guarantee the Eagles will win the division, but if you think that is crazy then you are..... well crazy. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if any of the four teams win the division. I think it's the best in the league this year.

agree, that the NFC east is the best in the league. Eagles winning it? Doubtful. I know you are an Eagles fan but major injures would have to happen for it to happen.

I disagree. If Wentz takes a positive step forward then the Eagles are a very good team. The O-line is very good. Receivers should be very good. Defense should be solid. If they are healthy then the only real weakness they have is RB, which isn't a huge deal.

There's a lot of ifs and shoulds in there.

It's two ifs. One is health, which is an if for every team. The other if is Wentz, which most people think will come true. The "shoulds" exist on every team. Come on. They are a 9 win team in Vegas. We aren't talking about the Browns here.

Eagles have the worst Cb's in the division. You are expecting Wentz to play like a pro bowler? Even a step forward wont be enough to compete with the other NFC East offenses. Jeffery would need to play all 16 which is always very doubtful. I think he is already hurt.
