If they wanted to, the Yankees could turn any team's lights out in free agency. It's not even close.

Not really.

Not with the way revenue is shared now.

The Yankees used to be one of a handful of teams that could wildly overspend for a player they wanted.

Now? Any team can do it if they want to. The gap there has closed a lot

And that pesky reigning Cy Young award winner.

Oh and the guy that shut down the Yankees awesome infield and MVP frontrunner last night.

Yeah, Ill go with the Rick POrcello he has been his entire career, not the one outlier season last year

And it looks like the real Rick Porcello has arrived in full force here in 2017

And Drew Pomeranz needed 120 pitches to get through 5 innings last night

If you wanna count him, maybe ill tell you about CC's last 5 starts

I'll take the Sox rotation for the next 3 years over the Yankees rotation for the next 3 years.

Only because of Sale......That Price contract is destined to look very ugly, maybe sooner than later

Starling Castro isnt a .218 career hitter

Didi Gregorious is everything in the power department that you wish Xander Boegarts was

Youre all over the place with sample sizes

Judges' first 50 games of MVP caliber baseball mean squat

Birds' 2 weeks' of batting .100 dictate who he is

This guy doesn't watch baseball Dirt, let it go. lol

The Red Sox are the team that wildly overspend, they have become what they despised for years

The Yankees are obviously committed to building from within

No, I think he'll be better than a .100 hitter.

I just don't think he's shown anything to show that he's anything more than a warm body.

Bogaerts is having the best power year of his career. No, the home runs aren't coming yet. But he's blistering all of his career high paces everywhere else.

Bad example.

Rock Strongo

My mind spits with an enormous kickback.

Not just because of Sale, because the Yankees rotation is full of question marks.

Not a big fan of Xander

But Didi is vastly underrated offensively
Didi has been an average to slightly above average offensive shortstop for a couple years now.

Not sure why you wouldn't be a fan of Xander.
