Yes, really. It's okay that you don't know.

You know that they log salaries by team by year, right?

So, it's really easy to illustrate how much the gap has closed in the past 5 years.

It's ok that you don't know. Try the internet. Start with the google.

Only because of Sale......That Price contract is destined to look very ugly, maybe sooner than later

Only because of Sale?

The Yankees have a lottery ticket in Severino and nothing else to speak of.

You can say what you want about Porcello, but he's better than anything the Yankees have.

he read .281 backwards llol

No, I was exaggerating because that seems to be the only language Dirt speaks.

I can only speak truth for so long when i'm discussing something with a guy who exaggerates everything he says.

Ill start with that fat turd at 3rd

The starting pitcher with elbow problems that got 200+million and is signed for another 37 years

Sandoval's problem isn't his contract, it's the fact that is awful.

He'd be awful at Mitch Moreland money.

Price got the going rate for elite starting pitching. If you want that player, you pay that money.

He may have fallen into elbow problems a year after he signed his deal, but he got fair market value.

Our definition of overspending isn't the same. You can give out a huge deal and not overspend.

Cram it, tard.

The overall gap has closed, but with the highest revenue in baseball (20% higher than #2 Dodgers), and 0% debt/value, the Yankees can still shut out any team in FA if they so desired.

You're beyond your depth.

Yankees and Red Sox

$500M in payroll and 3 good starting pitchers

$400 million, actually. But exaggeration is the law of the land around here, so it's really 9 good starting pitchers, right?

That's not true, his ISO is down from last year.

I don't subscribe to goofy stats like "ISO" or "BAPIB" or whatever else.

Slugging % is as good a measure as I need for measuring a guys ability to produce runs.

If you thought you were right, you wouldn't be so pissed off about something so irrelevant.

Highest "revenue" in baseball means squadoosh, noob. Not with revenue sharing. That Astros team that broke records for awfulness a few years ago? Turned the highest profit of every team in baseball.

They had the money to spend. They chose not to do it.

Everyone has the money to spend now. Otherwise Giancarlo Stanton would have needed his $325 million from the Yankees, Mets, Red Sox or Dodgers.

Not even a huge fan of Didi, but 20+ HR and 70+ RBI and slaughters lefties

Im more than happy with that, considering when this lineup is all together, he is probably a #8 hitter

Just dont like Xander for some reason, and its not my hatred for the Sox, cause Moooookie is my favorite player in the game
Never hit 20+ HRs in his career.

Every freaking post with this guy-

Pissed off?

You have no idea what you're talking about.

"Revenue doesn't matter."

Holy shit.

Stanton was never a UFA, meatball, or else he wouldn't be a Marlin.

I don't know why that's a goofy stat. His slugging percentage is higher because his batting average is higher. That doesn't mean his power has gone up if he's hitting more singles.

Its also higher because he is hitting more doubles and triples.

In a league that is HR or K more than ever, I find Bogaerts approach refreshing.
