The Jays hit the Braves a ridiculous # of times over the first 2 games then injured Freeman last night. They had to expect this was coming.

Thoughts? @Chewbaccer

Hit 7 times in a 3 game span is a lot. I know they didn't hit anyone intentionally, but now our season is pretty much over with our best player out at least 2 months.

Then Pillar getting bent out of shape because Motte quick pitched him and Pillar called him a faggot(You're in the box, and you swung at a pitch 3 feet outside, that's on you) wasn't a good look.

And then Bautista bat flipping on a solo shot that turned an 8-3 score into an 8-4 score in the 8th inning was pretty lame.

Odds are high that the benches are gonna clear tonight, and while I definitely think the Jays have some payback coming, we really can't afford anyone getting suspended now that Freeman is gone.

It's a damn shame. We were playing some good baseball of late, had moved into second place in the NL East and now none of it even matters.

Bautista needs a career ending injury.

Just go away Dbag

Don't really know why he got so fired up last night. Best my memory can recall, he was never even brushed back by a pitch the entire series or anything, all the while Braves players had been hit 7 times, including one that broke the wrist of our best player who was having an MVP caliber season.

It's a bad look admiring a shot and flipping your bat on a game your team is getting blown out in, and against a team that has flat out dominated your pitching the entire series.

Last 3 teams to win at least 28 out of their first 40 games:

2016 Cubs: 29-11 (Won World Series)
2010 Rays: 29-11 (Lost in ALDS)
2007 Red Sox: 28-12 (Won World Series)

So 2 out of 3.

My goodness. I thought Enos Slaughter played for the Cardinals not the Reds. Scores the winning run tonight from 1st on a single in the 9th.

I'm not sure where the 2 Wildcard teams are coming from. My guess is the East gets at least 1. Not sure where the 2nd one comes from though.

With us leading the Central, I think we safely can say the East is getting both Wild Cards this season.

Is the rest of the AL West that bad, or are the Stros just that good? IMO, the Stros are just that good.
