The only teams I'm concerned about from the list are the Cards and Jays. Phils were expected to be 4th or last.

I'm not concerned about the Cards because they have too much talent not to make the playoffs.

I don't know, that beanpole, Yordano Ventura(may he RIP) took Machado down just last year. Machado is all bark with no bite, who is a bit of a pussy when the opposing third baseman tags him.

Now that David Ortiz is retired, Machado gets my vote for biggest bitch in the game(Braun is a close second).

Being in the NL, we rarely get to play, let alone host, baseball royalty. I'm looking forward to this upcoming Reds vs Yankees series. I think we play at each others stadiums this year too.

The Blue Jays took 2 of 3 from the Rays this weekend. Team is still 11-20 but playing .500 ball over the last 6 is better for the team.

I am a baseball fan I suppose however I don't really pay a lot of attention to division leaders etc until later in the year. I checked today though and here are a few things that surprised me:

• 2 years removed from winning a World Series and the Royals are awful and already 7 games back
• The NL Central is a lot closer than I would have thought after 30 games. Everybody within 3 games of 1st.
• Colorado leading the NL West is a surprise too. Just because they're Colorado
