It's actually starting to get annoying.

I'm a huge Shaq fan.

He and Magic are the only Lakers players I actually rooted for while they were still on that roster.

But, his bully act is wearing thin.

It was funny at first. Now, it seems like he's not joking.

I feel sorry for Ernie.
yah. get some professionalism shaq....that was starting to get out of hand.

Celtics put up a fight at least. They just have a bunch of sucky offensive players to take the Cavs in the long haul.

Its all good. The Warriors will have the LeTots screaming and running for the bills in a week or two
Lol not the LeTots

Greed > Winning

There’s been a lot of rumblings about Chris Paul, and I think that’s real,” Lowe says. “I think there’s mutual interest there. I don’t know how real it is given the Clippers can offer a gigantic amount of money and are also a really good team; and the Spurs, like I said, have no sort of cap flexibility to get there. I’m very curious about what they do this summer and who’s on the team next year.”

Agreed. He has the opportunity to play alongside Kawhi and the best coach in the league. CP3 to the Spurs would put a serious wrench in the Dubs' plans to rule the West for years. But if he takes the max to stay with the Clips, considering it would ruin any cap flexibility (with what little is left) it shows what his priority is.

It's almost as if he believes that if TNT had to choose, it would be him.

Hasn't he already learned that lesson from his playing days?

During an argument about the postseason following Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the two went after each other. Shaq opened up by pulling rank and pointing out that Barkley had only been to the NBA Finals once. Sir Charles fired back that at least he hadn’t ridden Dwyane Wade and Kobe Bryant’s coattails. Things devolved from there.

Charles: If I had been riding on Kobe’s coattails and Dwyane Wade’s and Alonzo Mourning’s too, I forgot about him, and Rick Fox. Shaq: People question why you’re in the Hall of Fame anyway, bum. Ernie: Why did that get so personal when we’re talking about Game 5? Shaq: Because Chuck keeps interrupting me. Don’t interrupt me, Chuck, or I’m gonna punch you right in your face, I’m telling you. Charles: If you hit me, we’re gonna be moving some furniture. I’m gonna throw one of these chicken wings at your fat ass. Shaq: You gonna do what? (holds up chicken wing)

Wonder why that is, not that i dont believe it, but he avoids the better defenders on GS, should be able to really hit the glass against them

He can't defend anyone on their roster and all of their forwards can pretty easily defend him. I'm not sure how his rebounding was against them last year but it isn't enough to make up for the other shortcomings.

CP strikes me as the type who just might take less than fair market value to join a perennial contender (especially if TP retires) to finally win. He's made 137 million over the course of his career and he's 32.

Yeah, I kinda get it with Blake.

That Dudes body is being held together by spider webs and duct tape.

So, he's trying to do a Brandon Roy because it could all be over soon.

Paul is older. But, a better investment at the right price.

Paying him 40 mil at 37 is not the right price....lol

It was rather hilarious, yet awkward at the same time. Having said that, although Shaq's the superior talent, Shaq's also had the opportunity of playing with future HOF teammates in Kobe and Wade that helped him with rings. Shaq also had Phil and Riley as coaches at certain points in his career. Barkley never really had those opportunities until really late in his career with Drexler, Hakeem and Pippin. By that point, he wasn't near the same player he was. It's funny to always point out that Chuck doesn't have rings, but in context, it's understandable considering Barkley's prime came during the Jordan era - something Shaq had to learn in 96.

Yeah, I could imagine the grumbles out in LA if he gets that contract. CP3 will be a shell by then and that team will have nothing else around him. It would land them in the lottery though.....

Maybe if the Spurs had 3 studs instead of 1 and a quarter.

He's not taking a significant pay cut to Still lose.

ehhh at least those first rounders are somewhat protected unlike the idiot Nets....no one trades unprotected or very lightly protected picks anymore----- Clips- i would like to think- learned their lesson with Kyrie on that one.

Leonard, CP and Aldridge is a formidable trio imo.

B Diddy...lol

The only thing that softens the blow is that it had to be done to pay Paul.

But, nights like last night still makes me squirm.
