lol why is this even an issue anymore...?

IF Bosh is smart he'll back away from the NBA. dying on the court ain't worth it...

Talk to Wiggy. He's claiming he was right the whole time. Not sure what he was right about. Considering he thought Bosh's salary would go on the Heat's book while playing on a different team. That isn't happening now, and it's likely he never plays again.

Was anything said about Kyrie's ankle after the game?

Often, those minor ankle tweaks are worse the next day. If there is bad swelling today, I'd expect the Cavs to sit him out Game 5.

I didn't hear anything. Watching him play after the injury, it looks like he's fine. If there were going to be an issue, he likely would have had at least a small limp. But he didn't even come out of the game.

Of course, there's the chance that adrenaline kept him going, but for as long as he played on it, I kind of doubt. I'm no doctor but I have a lot of intimate personal experience with sprained ankles (sprained mine more times that I can count over the years lol) and that's how it looked to me.

It's only an issue because Wiggy is so desperate to be right about something that he's now trying to spin something positive for the Heat re: Bosh's salary into him somehow being right.

In other words...the usual.

WRONG.

please find where i said that- never once did. I said that Bosh would continue looking and that the Heat's sole motivation for getting rid of Bosh was the uncertainty it was causing- and not working in Bosh's best interest.

I said Bosh would explore it and while unlikely- there is definitely a chance.....and as those people in the articles said- if you would actually read them-

Was exactly right.

Instead of doing the medical retirement--- they arent because they are worried about him attempting a return---- something i was told was impossible.

Even in the article that i quoted- it gave examples of new drugs that have allowed a FOOTBALL player to play with blood clots and have the medicine out of his system before game time.

We shall see--- but its beyond OBVIOUS that the Heat are acknowleding the risk of using the medical/retirement and getting burned- and are thus engaging in buy-out talks to assure they wont get caught with their pants down.

Its as crystal clear as can be.

No you weren't. You were told that's it's very unlikely that he will ever pass a team physical or play in the NBA again. Bosh, to my knowledge, has never given up on trying to make it back. No one has denied that Bosh was going to try to come back.

Essentially, the Heat and Bosh were holding each other hostage. This deal makes it so that Bosh can continue to try to come back without it coming back on the Heat. It's actually a fair deal for both Bosh and the Heat.

I totally agree its a fair deal for both Bosh and the Heat

it takes away the terrifying risk that 25M will get slapped back on the Heat's cap since they are afraid to go down the medical retirement route - acknowledging they might get burned going that way. they dont want to get caught with their pants down

im glad we can agree ;)

Of course they don't want to risk getting burned by it. No one ever said they didn't. So, as usual, you were arguing against something no one said.

On another note...How about Kyrie last night? Hated seeing the Cavs win, but looooved watching Kyrie lose his mind. That 175 foot 3 that he hit at the end of the 3rd quarter was the killshot, imo. When he hit that, I just shook my head and said "this is over." lol

3 reasons, imo:

1.) If you have enough money, you can always find a doctor to say just about anything you want.

2.) The Heat can't control what other teams are willing to do. So, however small the chance might be that a team will actually allow him to play, it's still a chance. I never said, no chance. I said very little chance.

3.) To move on from this. As I pointed out earlier, Bosh and the Heat were essentially holding each other hostage. This allows them both to move on.

Celtics put up a fight at least. They just have a bunch of sucky offensive players to take the Cavs in the long haul.

Its all good. The Warriors will have the LeTots screaming and running for the bills in a week or two

That mighve been the best playoff game by a LeBron teammate by Kyrie-----

i know people might say Kyrie's 40 point game against the Warriors----- its close--- but he was on fire last night.

I think it was important that Kyrie had a game like this--- he had a solid playoffs- but besides a game or two here and there he hadnt really broke out.

ESp. with the circumstances ---- the Celtics were up 16- first half- LeBron had 4 fouls---- for Kyrie to come through like that shows that he has some balls and some leadership ability.

esp. after the sprained ankle- it was unbelieable...i was kinda worried but it went the other way. he went crazy.

that was fun to watch- a team with a very good defense like Boston couldnt do ANYTHING to stop him.

What a game last night guys ! Kyrie saved the series from going to seven games. Cant wait till Thursday night for another rumble. Kyrie will not be putting up 42 in the jungle. Celtics needed IT in that last 10 minutes of the game.

Anyone hear Shaq and Barkley going after each other last night?

Those guys come closer and closer to blows every game
It's actually starting to get annoying.

I'm a huge Shaq fan.

He and Magic are the only Lakers players I actually rooted for while they were still on that roster.

But, his bully act is wearing thin.

It was funny at first. Now, it seems like he's not joking.

I feel sorry for Ernie.

one of the things that impressed me so much about Kyrie is that the Celtcs were playing some solid D.

I think Avery Bradley is one of the best matchups to cover Kyrie in the league.
