Pretty simple instructions. Rank the top 6 teams from best to worst. You're free to pick anybody you want. All what I ask is no repeats.

Lets look at some popular teams:

THE UNDEFEATED 8-0 SQUAD
Clemson - Beat four FBS schools with a winning record - Wake Forest by 6, NC State by 10, Florida State by 6, and Syracuse by 6.
Georgia - Beat two FBS schools with a winning record - Oregon by 46 and South Carolina by 41. Missouri is the only team they did not win by double digits.
Michigan - Beat two FBS schools with a winning record - Maryland by 7 and Penn State by 21. Their only close game was against Maryland.
Ohio State - Beat three FBS schools with a winning record - Notre Dame by 11, Toledo by 56 and Penn State by 13. Won every game by at least 11 points.
Tennessee - Beat three FBS schools with a winning record - LSU by 27, Alabama by 3 and Kentucky by 38 points.
TCU - Beat three FBS schools with a winning record - Oklahoma by 31, Kansas by 7, and Kansas State by 10.

THE ONE-LOSS SQUAD
Alabama - Beat three FBS schools with a winning record - Texas by 1, Arkansas by 23, and Miss State by 24 points. Solo loss to Tennessee on the road by 3 points.
Illinois - Beat two FBS schools with a winning record - Wyoming by 32 and Minnesota by 12 points. Lost to 3-5 Indiana by 3 points on the road. Allowing only 8.9 points per game, the best in FBS.
North Carolina - Beat two FBS schools with a winning record - App State by 2 and Minnesota by 3. Lost to 5-3 Notre Dame by 13 points.
Ole Miss (8-1) - Beat two FBS schools with a winning record - Troy by 18 and Kentucky by 3. Lost to 6-2 LSU by 25 points on the road.
Oregon - Beat UCLA by 15 points. Only lost to Georgia.
Tulane - Beat 6-2 Kansas State on the road by 7 and 5-3 Houston in OT by 3. Lost to 5-3 Southern Miss by 3.
UCLA - Beat three FBS schools with a winning record - South Alabama by 1, Washington by 8 and Utah by 10. Lost to Oregon.
USC - Beat 6-2 Oregon State by 3 points. Only lost to 6-2 Utah by 1 point on the road.

TWO BCS COMPUTER TOP SIX
Sagarin's predictive model top 6 - Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan and then Oregon. Undefeated Clemson is 8th and TCU is 12th.
Colley Matrix's "Deserve" model top 6 - Georgia, Clemson, TCU, Ohio State, Tennessee and then Michigan. Alabama is 7th and Oregon is 9th.

My ballot - Georgia, Ohio State, Tennessee, Michigan, Clemson and TCU in that order. Not ready to put a 1-loss team into the mix.

Please both submit your top 6 and participate in the poll.

1 - Tennessee - Not sure I believe that they are the best team in the nation, but they have, imo, at the moment, the best resume so far.
2 - TCU
3 - Ohio St
4 - Michigan
5 - Clemson
6 - Georgia

I'm also not ready to put a 1 loss team in my Top 6 as all of them either have some ugly loss or ugly win or wins that just means so far they don't deserve Top 6 consideration.

Outside of pummeling your Ducks, and I believe the entire Pac Conf is overrated, getting too much credit for wins against over rated teams like BYU, Baylor, Wisconsin and MSU, all who have been exposed since then, they have not impressed me as much as the other 5 teams. Maybe you didn't read the part where I said, I was not ranking them according to who were the best and 2nd best and 3rd best, etc., teams, but by the best and 2nd best and 3rd best, etc., resumes.

Almost losing to a crappy Mizzou team, is the first thought that comes to my mind.

I'm sure Georgia will play AND BEAT some good teams in the coming weeks and will improve that resume.

My ranking is of each team's RESUME up to this point in the season, NOT who I think is the best and 2nd best, etc..

Ohio St could be the best team in the country, but they've only had one test so far. They'll have plenty of time to improve their resume going forward, most noteworthy being their game vs Michigan. Winner of that game will certainly jump ahead of TCU and maybe to #1? Beating Maryland soundly wouldn't hurt.

Clemson's played all their toughest games. Same with TCU. And Tennessee and Georgia's resumes will change the most this next weekend, unless Tennessee beats Georgia, which I wouldn't bet on that happening, but it's also not outside the realm of possibility.

What is your top 6 for this week? I have Georgia as my #1, but I would like to hear your thoughts on the top 6 teams.
He's a pussy. He had no plans whatsoever to respond to your inquiry, he's too big of a pussy to put his neck out on the line like that. He might respond now that the Selection committee has released their rankings, and his will most likely look very similar to theirs.

I don't see what changes from what's been the last couple weeks. Things will start shaking themselves out over the next 4 weeks

Mizzou's Defense is legit and has some depth

1. Tennessee- Not sure they are the best team, but best resume so far.
2. Ohio St
3. Georgia
4. Michigan
5. Clemson- I am not sure I buy this team as a Top 10 team yet, let alone Top 5....but they are undefeated and it will work itself out
6. TCU- Defense is going to let them down at some point

Alabama is probably better than a couple of these teams, but just based on results so far.

Oh hell no. If you're gonna do something that stupid why not put Minnesota at # 6?

The undefeated defending champs at 6. Yet another doozy from you.

#1, because not even when UMn was 4-0 did I think they were a Top 6 team, not even Top 12, and probably not even Top 18. I would have ranked them around #19 and that was before their lack of depth was exposed. Be lucky if they end the season ranked in the Top 25.

I've said this several times now, I did not rank the teams according to who was the best, but their resumes so far.

Georgia hasn't beaten a single ranked team yet. And the close win vs Missouri and mediocre performances vs Kent St & Samford just haven't impressed me.

On the other hand, TCU beat 4 straight ranked(at the time) teams, 2 of them are still ranked.
