Dude, there is hardly a single team on the ooc that decade that didn't have a legit season before we played them.
2007 USC finished #3 in the country, then we played em in 2010 & 2011.
2009 Middle Tennessee St went 10-3 and got votes for the EOS Top 25, then we played em a few years later, 2014 I think?
2009 TCU went 12-1 and finished #6 in the country, then in 2010 they went 13-0 and finished ranked #2 in the nation after the bowl games and in 2011 they went 11-2 and came in #14. Not long after that 3 year period, they were on our scedule.
2012 Oregon St finished the season #20 in the rankings. Couple years later we played em.
2012 SJSU finished 11-2 and #21 in the EOS Top 25, and we played them the next 2 years.
2013 Fresno St went 11-2 and came in RV, in 27th place, they were #21 in the polls before losing their bowl game.
2014 Colorado St finished the season 10-3 and RV, we played them the next 2 seasons.
2017 Fresno St went 10-4 and finished in RV.
2018 they finished the season 12-2 AFTER we beat them, and #18 in the EOS Top 25.
But what am I thinking, you all can boast about WOFFORD and Montana and Nevada, lol.
Excellent deflection, well done.
Just for anyone paying attention:
USC football in 2010 went 8-5.
USC football in 2011 went 11-2.
Middle Tenn 2010 went. 6-7.
TCU football 2014. Went 13-1.
TCU football 2015 went 11-2.
Oregon State 2016 went 4-8.
Oregon State 2017 went 1-11.
San Jose St 2013 went 6-6.
San Jose St 2014 went 3-9.
Colorado st 2015 and 2026 went 7-6.
Stop boasting Minnesota up to be world beaters.
I didn't claim they were good the year we beat them, I was indicating that they WERE GOOD, around the time they SCHEDULED THEM.
Duh.
Can't control the future.
That doesn’t mean they are a strong OOC opponent because they won 9 games 3 years before ya played them. Just an FYI
None of the ones you played last year during the regular season ended up ranked. Only Utah in the CCG. Doesn't take away from how good Oregon was though.
LOL @ Oregon fans pimping out about beating Wisconsin by 1,
like Illinois did.
WOW, you are a moron.
Excellent rebuttal, nitwit.
Excellent rebuttal, nitwit.
I had already made my rebuttal, you MORON.
You've yet to rebut anything, dimwit.

LOL. There you have a decade of Oregon ooc opponents. Were any of them ranked, EVER? BEFORE you played them?
Not listed? Nebraska x 2, Virginia x 2, Tennessee x 2. None of whom ended up ranked, but didn't stop Oregon from losing to Nebraska one of those 2 games. Looked at the last 15 seasons and not once did Virginia finish a season in the Top 25.
That leaves FOUR, just 4 legit opponents, this year's Auburn, whom my Gophers beat, Mich St twice and LSU, two of the games which they lost, and then those 2 semi-legit teams and Virginia for P5 teams.
I'd put the Gopher's OOC schedule up against Oregon's for the last decade, no problem.
TCU vs LSU/Aub
Oreg St vs Virginia
USC vs MSU
Fresno St vs Tenn
NDSU vs South Dakota
Col St vs Nebraska
UNLV vs Nevada
NMSU vs New Mexico
Georgia St vs Georgia St
SJSU vs SJSU
WMU vs Bowling Green
Middle Tenn St vs Tenn Tech
Syracuse vs, I don't know, S Utah, UC Davis, Nicholls St, Ark St, Missouri St, Portland St???
lol
Make sure your gun is loaded before you show up for a gunfight dumbass.
WOW, you are a moron.
I am a Clemson fan, but would still put Sabin at #1 (Dabo at #2). Sabin has done way too much in 13 years to be moved from the #1 spot.I do one of these most every offseason.
1. Dabo Swinney- What he's done is more impressive to me because Clemson isn't a traditional power. 2 natties, and playing for 4 natties in 5 years at Clemson is incredible.
2. Nick Saban- Nobody has a better track record. I think Dabo has passed him, but overall career, Saban is the best.
3. Lincoln Riley- Might not be able to win the playoff games, but he gets his team there every year, and that's not easy to do.
4. Ryan Day- It's Urban's guys, but they didn't miss a beat, and if anything, the team improved under his watch.
5. Ed Orgeron- Never thought I'd be including him on this list. but here we are. I wanted to put him higher, but his track record as a HC prior to this season wasn't great, but if LSU continues to be a top program under his watch, he'll definitely move up. But I need to see how he does without Joe Burrow and Joe Brady before I can put him higher.
6. Kirby Smart- Best 4 year win total in UGA history.
7. PJ Fleck- He has a program we thought was dead ranked in the top 10.
8. James Franklin- Dude gives me the creeps, but Penn State has been a perennial top 10 team under his watch, and he didn't exactly step into the best situation. I still say him winning 9 games at Vandy in back to back seasons is his most impressive accomplishment.
9. Jimbo Fisher- I don't like him. There's plenty of others I'd rather have than him, but he does have a recent natty, and that does count for something.
10. Mario Cristobal- He's brought Oregon back to respectability and is recruiting at a level Chip Kelly never did at Oregon.
Honorable mentions- Mark Stoops, Dan Mullen, Gus Malzahn, Bronco Mendenhall, Mack Brown, Jim Harbaugh, Paul Chryst, Pat Fitzgerald, Brian Kelly, Mike Gundy, Les Miles, Matt Campbell, Kyle Whittingham
I am a Clemson fan, but would still put Sabin at #1 (Dabo at #2). Sabin has done way too much in 13 years to be moved from the #1 spot.
Agreed.Yeah, but Dabo doesn't have several years of sucking at another gig hanging around his neck like Saban has, so out of respect for what Saban has done, sure, he should probably remain #1, but Dabo is not far, imo, from catching him.
