I know about Choo's injury but I've been tied up away with work. Any status on how long Choo's going to miss. Based on Wash's comments last night it seemed it could mean he could miss a decent amount of time. Not sure if that was just coach speak or not.

You're probably right.
Martin has been great where he is. Please Wash leave a good thing alone. Let EA lead off and Choice #2. Seems reasonable and logical but that's why Wash won't do it.:noidea:

I know in football its a MINIMUM 3 weeks. I wouldn't assume it would be as long for a baseball player considering there isn't as much a necessity to cut. Especially if you have the option to dh.

running bases will be the trick as well as turning on a ball

I had a feeling he would put Choice in the lead off spot. I like it except Donnie Murphy as the DH. MM is a better hitter that Murphy vs R or L. He has hit well vs lefties in the past. He was hitting last week before Wash rested him for 2 days then looked lost again last night. He's not the type of player that can hit every other day. His timing goes to shit when he gets days off.

This Ranger team has been more than frustrating on many occasions this young season, but I find it amazing and impressive that this team, despite the multitude of injuries, uneven SP and BP, inconsistent offense, and Fielder slumping, is sitting at 12-8. They seem to find ways to win. Last night was a good example, with Yu having a sub par outing, I had written them off. But on the cusp of disaster ( and certain loss), Yu strikes out that prick Donaldson to end the inning, and the Rangers were able to claw their way to victory (while I slept!). I went to bed thinking there was no way the Rangers were winning that game last night...

I hope Choo's injury is minor. We cannot afford any more injuries...

On the play where Choo was hurt. I kinda agree with the TV broadcast guys. No matter the original call, I didn't see evidence to over turn whatever the call. I had a problem with safe turns to out on that bang bang play. MLB is way over thinking this replay stuff outta NYC.

:agree:.....Leave up to the dinosaur leadership of MLB to be the last on the planet to "get" all this new fangled technology.

this is true. however, the time table is less than that of a football player. was it his right or left ankle? that makes a big difference! if it's his left, then that will definitely affect his load and his ability to turn on a ball
