Landry Jones (Steelers)

Teddy Bridgewater (Vikings)

Jones was a 4th round pick, not sure if he's really a bust @ # 115. Bridgewater (32nd)? I disagree. He went 6-6 as a rookie last year & AP only played in 1 game. Not sure if he's been mentioned yet although Tim Couch (# 1 in '99 by the Browns) was a real bust.

Yeah but they couldn't be different as to how they reacted after hitting rock bottom. Schlichter just keeps fucking up over and over while Clarett is actually doing really well for himself now. He's big on the personal fitness scene and travels around also doing talks with kids and stuff. I went to a memorabilia show last year in Cleveland with probably 30-35 guys there from all walks of sports life. He and Earle Bruce were the nicest guys there by far. He couldn't have been happier to talk to people and give out autographs.

I totally agree. Just too bad, makes you wonder what could have been.

Don't forget Chris Weinke.

Yeah, we've never really had a QB translate well to the pros... Brad Johnson is our most productive NFL QB ever, which is admittedly sad. Brad couldn't even hold onto the starting job at FSU... Don't think Casey Weldon was ever a pro prospect... Kannell didn't last long at all... Charlie Ward wasn't stupid enough to even try...

Yeah, our main pro contributions to the NFL have been defense and O Line...

As a Bengals fan, 'productive' is definitely a stretch. For sure not worth the hype considering how good he was in college and how it just flat out didn't translate to the pros

Was going to say... Didn't recall Warrick ever doing anything worthy of notice...

Warrick had a few productive years. What about Jamal Reynolds?

Yeah, we've had so many defensive players go pro its hard to keep track of them all... Some have been outright busts for sure... Reynolds definitely being one.

Tony Mandarich or Charles Rogers off the top of my head.

Couldn't agree more. Mandarich was before my time but I have seen countless lists of busts where he is in the top 5 of all time, so I will put him slightly ahead of Rogers.
