The first 2 Hellraisers were great. Loved me some Pinhead and his Cenobites.

Hellraiser is the only movie that scare the bejubus outta me every time I think about it. Only watched the first and it still give me the creepies. Did not go back for more.

No Wild Things movies?

But I didn’t like all of the movies but I think the whole plot of everything connecting really well worked out for the Saw franchise. None of them stood out alone but when you binge watch all of them together I think it actually is really good.

What qualifies as a “franchise”? 2 movies? 3? 10 hours of screen time? One long movie?

I cannot vote on a group that includes Halloween and friday the 13th, that shit is rinse and repeat garbage! There are soo many good, legitimate franchises left off this list, it is not even funny

You should be proud of me, I'm Mr Netflix and Youtube these days. No Hulu or Amazon though.

But still full meal cable deal.....

Wow, Hank leaves the analog world behind.

4K is a bit of a... con right now.

Nobody is editing and broadcasting in native 4K, the expense is... outrageous. So while the source material MIGHT be 4K, or else shot on film and transferred to 4K, they're still outputting in regular ol' HD.

The loops of visuals they're outputting to their 4K TV's in the store are no doubt true 4K, but even a half hour show in true 4K would be... effing gigantic.

I realize. HDR is much more important.

But if they can fake the 4K (upscale) and effectively double the regular signal it makes those really large TVs like I bought still perform better than older regular units.

I can play a BluRay on my older 1080p plasma unit and it doesn't look as good as it does on the new set which is considerably larger.

And I didn't buy an OLED/QLED or the highest priced set out there so my bank account wasn't broken.

Zero regrets.

No doubt. HD signal looks better with more pixels. Just imagine how it COULD look to watch a Cowboys game in true 4K.
