Joe had the mystique. He was my guy growing up. I was always a receiver in sandlot ball and pretended to be Dwight Clark. Our favorite sand lot pattern was actually "Dwight Clark". We called it this and everyone in our huddle knew what it was. It was basically a pick or rub play.

That's one of the most iconic plays in football.

The fact that it was against the Cowboys didn't hurt. When you were an Eagles fan growing up, you had a "second team" because your team stunk. My second team was always the Niners in the Walsh era.

Same here - was a Vikings fan in the early 70's until that (then local) 76 Pats team won me over.

Pre Brady- it was a toss up between Steve Grogan and Fran Tarkington. Loved that Vikings early 70's era team.

If I’m being funny it’s Jay Cutler.

If I’m serious and I exclude the obvious Favre and Rodgers answers I would have to say Kurt Warner. I liked McNabb in his Philly days too.

Dan Marino from Pittsburg, Pa. I was never a big Dolphins fan but I liked him and just thought he was a real class act and a great quarterback. (Funny, I posted that and looked up and there he was)

Warner had a pretty good rags-to-riches story ... small college to grocery stocker to NFL QB.

First QB outside of Seattle that I rooted for was Farve.

I'll always have a soft spot for Kitna because of where he came from.

But hands down, the most fun to watch has been Russ.

I have to give Mike Vick an honorable mention too.....pre prison though. He wasn't the same after that whole ordeal.

Koy Detmer. When he thew a TD he'd mimic pulling off a belt and smacking that ass. Classic
Plus he was making a million a year in Philly and drove his parents old station wagon with the wood paneling. Thats just cool.

OK, showing my age, For reasons I won't get into, 1n 1967, as a little kid, I was introduced to Roman Gabriel, Jack Snow and all of the Fearsome Foursome defensive line. Guess who I've been a fan of my whole life!
