if you had to pick your second favorite college football team who would it be?

For me I think I'd have to go with either Clemson or Notre Dame

For me it's always been Nebraska.
Probably because I wanted them undefeated when we played them in the Big8 for the conference championship and national implications.

They just need to get their shit together moving forward.

Georgia (just to honor my late mother, who birthed me while she was there in grad school and was a big fan)

I remember randomly (no connection to them) liking Nebraska about 35 years ago when they were shining and had a good rivalry with Uglyhomo, but they wouldn't make my "2nd Favorite" playoffs now.

Houston was fun this year.
Wanted to like Memphis but those uniforms are just awful.

But WMU is my one and only now.

Maybe Illinois, cuz of Bill Cubit, but that's pushing it.

Mine will probably seem lame, but it's Middle Tennessee State. I lived in Murfreesboro, TN for almost 10 years, and went to my first game of theirs in '99 against UCF. Went to every home game after that, up until HS (when I moved back to Nashville...still make it to a game a few times a year). Been to numerous baseball and basketball games as well. Presidents Sidney McPhee even picked my brother and I up and took us to a basketball game once. Had a buddy of mine that went on to play there, and would get me into games for free.

Used to ride my bike up to watch the team practice after school. Good times.
