It is just wrong that Roger Craig is not making it. Terrell Davis was a maybe in my book, but Roger Craig should be in it. Maybe being with the SF 49ers and all the greats in that era is hurting him.

First rookie to score three TDS in a Super Bowl.

First NFL Player to rush for 1,000 yards and receive 1,000 yards in the same season.

Warner doesnt deserve it in my opinion he didnt have the longevity and really only 3 or 4 really good seasons.

Well, without getting into stats too much and the fact that he led 2 different teams that had previously sucked to 3 SB's, he did much more than simply have 3-4 really good seasons. He changed and led previously bad teams to new levels. In 13 career playoff games, Warner ranks first all-time in completion percentage (66.5%), first in yards per attempt (8.55), and second in passer rating (102.8). He also owns the three highest single-game passing yardage totals in Super Bowl history. "Warner went on to be considered the best undrafted NFL player of all time,[3] following a 12-year career regarded as one of the greatest stories in NFL history."

Simply put, Kurt Warner is a:

Thanks for your amendment. You're right, and I don't know of any other Rams or Cardinals QB that has thrown any pick 6's in a Super Bowl. Do you? Gotta get there in the first place and Warner, despite the picks, had brought these previously sorry teams to the verge of SB wins despite the int's. Definitely should be in the HOF.

One of the greatest playoff QBs of all time. Played his best football when it mattered most. Well deserved.

I have no problem with Kurt in the Hall. You couldn't tell the story of the NFL w/o speaking on Kurt Warner. At least not imo. Now had he just led the Rams to their only Super Bowl win and faded away. You could label it a Cinderella story and when the clock struck midnght. He truned back into a pumpkin. But with what he did with Rams after their SB, to seemingly fade away as a NY Giant and rise back up with the Cards.

He's a literal and legit fairytale come true.

Ya gotta love that..................unless you're a natural born hater.

Jim Kelly was consistent over pretty much his who career Warner cleaned up for 3 seasons with the Rams and one with the Cards. I dont think someone should get into the HOF off of 4 years of work. Also if you want to add in his AFL thats another 2 years for 10k yards.

My dispute is not that he wasnt a great person clearly based on his charitable efforts alone he was or that he wasnt a great story or player because he was. Its impossible to say if The Rams would have been just as good with Trent Green but clearly Pace and Holt had a lot to do with that offense as much as Warner did and the year they won the SB the Rams I believe had the 3rd ranked defense.
