I think the way around it is that they have to practice. As long as Sherman is practicing no fine. At least that how I understood them being able not to disclose Bailey's injury.

Well the person above said they were giving Sherman "rest days" so he was taking practices off just under a different title which is what the NFL is wanting to get away from.

This was my thought as well. If the player says it and the coach corroborates it, and he wasn't on the injury reports then they are about to pay some moola.

Could also cost them a draft pick as the NFL has been very clear this issue will not continue in the NFL. I think they even have it written out depending on how many violations a team has that eventually it does lead to draft picks being what is taken. I mean to billionaires what is losing $250,000? Losing some draft picks though that could be huge to helping the team out yeah that might make them change how they operate.

This is what I don't get.... If he truly was "hurt" then how was he not listed on the injury report? Surprised there is no more of an outcry on this one.

If I were considered one of the top CBs in the NFL, and I got beat repeatedly in a playoff game, I'd probably claim injury as well.
