Actually playing a real CF in CF which is nice. Why Ahmed? WHY? Play Owings at SS. Gambo was saying he'd like to see them bring up O'Brien and bat him after Goldschmidt in hopes that he gets Goldschmidt better pitches. I say why not? They have nothing to lost at this point.

Came up tonight with runners on second and third and one out in the third and cannot get the run in. Shallow fly ball in right field. It is pathetic that he hits around .400 when no one is on base and drops down almost 200 points when there are runners on base.

friend of mine made comparison that all Tomas is, is a fat Ben Revere. A very "empty" high batting average, doesnt hit for power, and doesn't produce runs

If we didn't have Segura this would seem to point to him being our next lead-off hitter. Since we do have him...your point illustrates how ineffective he has been.
