He would add another 3-4 years onto Iggy's prime.

Yeah. I don't think that the Flames are a bottom 5 team this year. I might be wrong but unless Iggy goes down I say they stay competitive for a playoff spot.

However, if they were to crap the bed in a given year, it looks like this would be a good one to do it in.

If EDM gets 1st overall again, I might just snap though.

The one problem with Grigorenko is nobody knows when he'll come to North America. Trust me it's not something teams want to deal with. The Islanders have a player Kirill Petrov is playing lights out for AK Bars in the KHL. He's in the final year of his contract & they still have no idea what the kid is going to do. It will have been 4 years since they drafted him in the 3rd round.

Ottawa needs an elite winger that's for sure. I'd be happy with either of these kids though.

Filip Forsberg is another forward in the draft who is getting a lot of hype.

There are going to be a lot of teams very happily surprised with the defenseman they get in the 1st round. This draft is very deep on the blueline.

Hate to go all Wayne Simmonds on the Avs but....
