Stanford has no easy schedule for sure. Like USC, Stanford has a 9 game conference schedule plus ND year in and year out. Unlike USC, expectations at Stanford aren't nearly as high. Stanford averages 11 P5 regular season opponents year in and year out .. no neutral field bs, but home & aways.

There's nothing that would pull me from Ohio to live in California. Absolutely nothing. I think it pisses people off that people that live in Ohio actually enjoy living in Ohio.

California’s jacked up politics have nothing to do with why kids are choosing not to go to Stanford. I don’t know what it is but 99% of college students aren’t affected by politics and it’s not like Palto Alto is full of homeless folks or dudes who wear dresses and think they should play women’s soccer like those that are all over in Eugene or Seattle.

Exactly. You can show me all the pretty pictures of CA that you want. I've been there several times, it's pretty. None of that is enough to overcome to enormous negatives that come from living there.
