Unbelieveable. We should have been in on that action, SHIT!!

Dolphins trrade him to the Bears for only two 3rd round picks.

Imagine Green and Marshall together in our offense. Dalton had a lot of fun throwing to Marshall in the probowl also.

Garcon and Josh Morgan look to be signing with the Redskins. I would have welcomed either.

Edit: whoops, didn't see already posted in Free Agency thread

I'm actually ok not going after Marshall. There's a reason that 2 teams now have dumped him for nothing.

He's crazy.

but in between those times of being totally mental, he can catch a football.

Just not for TDs.

I haven't looked at his stats at all but I thought he did pretty well in Denver. I think Miami was more a product of having a shit qb.

He had 4 TD's in the probowl, and imagine AJ Green or Brandon Marshall getting one of the #2 CB in coverage?

You can't just put your #1 CB on Green and shut down our passing game then. Marshall would have made teams FEAR playing our offense, and then maybe trading up a little bit for Richardson (if he falls around 10 or so) would have been a great opportunity.

I know Richardson has been linked to St. Louis, but with Jackson there, would Jackson now become available via trade if the right offer came up?

Again, there's a reason teams keep dropping Marshall. Having a second #1 WR could be an issue.

Maybe it's because he was constantly bitching about having Chad Henne and Kyle Orton throw to him??

Just saying?

Marshall's a good pickup for the Bears. they need some offensive firepower to matchup with the Packers and Lions.. those teams could both score 30 pts a game next yr if the stay healthy..

The Bengals have the best young WR in the game, and it might not be in the best interests for Dalton's development to pair him up with a high-maintenance player like Marshall..

if they were offering Bess I'd take him for a 3rd without question...

also it looks like this move might be in order to the Fins a chance of landing Manning/Wayne...
frees up cap space, and Manning supposedly didnt want Marshall at WR

Brandon Marshall I accused of punching a woman at a nightclub over the weekend. It had something to do with an altercation involving his wife.

That is ALL speculation. This move isn't making sense to most people, so they're throwing that out there. If Manning signs in Miami without them picking up a legitimate #1 WR to replace Marshall, then the case can be made, otherwise no. It is just as likely Miami doesn't see themselves as a likely destination for Manning and they are going into a "rebuilding" phase.

Having 2 #1's is never an issue, unless that "issue" is in reference to potential cap implications, which wouldn't be the case for us.

Marshall seems like a nice young man.

Good value for the Bears though..... The FA market for wide receivers is currently expensive. Did you see how much Garcon got?
