Why is sneaking into the playoffs as the worst wildcard team from the worst division a goal for this year at all?
Meh. If it happens, it happens. Figure a lot of this is RR coach speak for ‘DH ain’t my guy’
More worried about developing the guys we have that have got some talent myself. Maybe Allen will provide that. DH wasn’t to this point.

Doubt we will win the division but cool if we do. all Dallas needs to do is pull its head out it’s ass and live up to the talent they have on D. We all know no team from this division is going far this year.

Hey guys!!!

anyway here is my 2 cents!

I don’t think they should have benched Haskins.... he’s atrocious and they could tank for Lawrence under the guise of evaluation... excellent PR move IMO.. should have went this route. Skins are a worse team with Haskins starting then they are with Allen or Alex Smith

On the other hand Haskins was technically a first round pick but given how historically bad that draft class was should he be given 1st round treatment when in any other season he’s graded round 3 or later? Just something to think about

Btw is it okay now to be outspoken about how horrible Haskins was/is?

Jason Campbell part 2. Some players you can just tell immediately. Haskins wow plays since his first snap in preseason can be counted on 1 hand

You totally disagreed with my point on making the change. I gave you the reasons why we should change and those same reasons were the reason RR made the change. Yes. I was right and you were wrong. Just admit it.

You were right. I was wrong.

And if RR used the same reasoning as you did to do this. Then his reasoning is as ass backwards, nonsensical, and short-sighted as fuck as yours were. RR lost me some with that move today.

Maybe with the Patriots after sitting. But not at this franchise. Horrible pick thrust on us by Snyder. Cooley confirmed today that NOONe in the front office wanted DH in the first.

With experience and the right coaching I think it is possible he could be an adequate game manager.

But I even doubt that.

And we probably won’t ever know for sure because he hasn’t had either.

haskins career is over as a skin period . i have heard the falsehoods before . he is done. we are in the qb market for 2021

he will not be a franchise qb here , now its allen's turn

And Allen is an obvious place holder.

For sure. Unless he magically balls out and changes minds as to what he has shown to be so far

Course I’m rooting for him to succeed. Nice to see this O actually score more than 20 in this juiced up scoring NFL

Literally 2 seconds back on the board Philly fan, and you’re trolling my posts.

The length of time in which you hold a grudge is absolutely normal, Philly fan. You dont seem to have issues at all.

So I actually listened to all of RRs press conference last night. It seems to me he was being honest and I liked that he talked to everyone ... gave his opinion and said "lets see, I could be right and I could be wrong." I admire that he faced the media and was up front. It doesn't seem to me he has given up on Haskin's. dad said many times before the season that this off season because of the virus was going to hurt Haskins. That is what RR said too. At least RR had a big enough pair to get out there and say how he felt.

I don't think Kyle Allen is anymore than a place holder. I think most of us feel that way.

Haskins has bad body language. He had it his first year when Gruden was still here. His agent should shut up. Hopefully his parents won't be like Griffin's parents and get involved with the media. It is okay to be pissed off, just keep it to yourself for the good of your son. Sadly a lot of players get a sense of entitlement. Parents do that too, hell parents do that when their kids our young.

We'll see how it goes. That is all we can do.

if we have to keep finding qbs every 2 years we wont ever build the rest of the team . haskins failing hurts the team . if allen fails it hurts the team and sets it back

allen isnt the qb people on this board want . the the IMPF 's wont ever wait for him to develop and will be disappointed he doesnt make other players better

just wait , the IMPF's will show their colors again

so in anticipation of their unified disgust in kyle allen , he will recieve a new name . he will be know as Tim Allen or better yet TT (tool time )

Great points. Finally got to listen to the Presser myself and here are some of my thoughts about it...

RRs framing this as Kyle having had the time from playing so poorly to now to having had time taking mental reps on the bench and that he’ll play with the same set of guys that DH did. Now it’s time for DH to do that.

If Kyle fails/succeeds it’ll help with assessment of everyone. Is it Dwayne or is it his complementary parts. And if so, RR will know where the team needs help. RR was also quick to point out that this was a setback for DH and he was extremely sympathetic with the facts that DH hadn’t gotten training camp, etc. and knew this wasn’t FAIR....but that doesn’t matter, when ya look around and see that the division is so weak this year.

With Alabama and Ohio State players on the roster, who are used to winning, it also isn’t fair if it is QB play holding the team back. Also states this is only a setback for now for DH.

*we will see. Not sure I buy all this but RR does appear to be sincere. Perhaps we will see DH back later in the year. Prior to hearing his presser I thought there was no chance. Now, im not so sure.

if this was a superbowl contending team i could get behind the choice . but it isnt , so now we are in the market for a new drafted qb and if i am a redskins fan then what i am looking at drafting a qb in this draft you are looking at these 2 qbs , Kyle trask or zach wilson

trask is a big kid who plays in a game manager style . wilson is a mobile kid with a big arm and down field touch

these 2 kids you can get without having to trade picks

fields and lance are good prospect but here is the rub , both havent played much in college and hence we are back to developing a qb which the IMPF's clearly cant do

that leaves lawrence and the only way you get him is to tank out or gut 2-3 drafts

so what really needs to happen is tim needs to play well and become a franchise qb so we can get a sewell or a weatherford or a waddle and not have to go back and get the qb we already

the other options are trades and FA . i will explore that later

Like Breed said in an earlier post, it stung me a bit with the announcement of switching QB's. Goes against his plan laid out from the beginning. "In Ron I trust", has been my motto from the beginning. I will trust him up until I don't. My guess is we are looking for a vet to come in next year and take over.
