Starting to seriously wonder if it's possible to change the culture at Redskins Park. Thus far all the evidence matter of factly and w/o question says Negatory.

At present its Culture Under Snyder 22 years n Counting - Seven Head Coaches/1 General Manager (Scotty Mac) Goose Eggs.

Against Cleveland yes. Other than that game, ti was very typical play for a rookie QB who had limited games in college.

He had made bad decisions and bad throws in all four games. Couldn't open the playbook b/c he didnt have a grasp of the offense.

Clearly something happened behind the scene for Rivera to give up on Haskins so quickly. Don't know if it was something that DH did, or didn't do, but this makes no sense so early. Unless Ron has seen enough and has determined that DH is no where close to being an NFL QB.

A couple people argued when I said I don't expect any major culture changes with the hiring of RR .... my reasoning is simple ... Dan Snyder. My argument back to them ... I have 20 years of history with him as owner that says I am right.

I think time, or at least the perception of it, is different in the Snyder Zone than anywhere else. In Snydes 21 or whatever years he's been systematically dismantling the Skins as owner. Kirk Cousins is the grand old man far as long term starter at QB with 3 seasons. I think we're gonna see Alex by the midway point of the season if not sooner. I won't be shocked if WFT wins just enough games to take them firmly out of any possibility of drafting a stud QB. Thereby opening the door for Alex to come close to putting in 3 years as starting QB. I do have concerns about him stepping back onto the field, but at the same time. Its kinda what professional athletes do. Come back after horrific injuries.

I disagree about this being a negative reflection on the culture change.

Reports are that Haskins doesn’t prep well or work hard enough. If true, this could be exactly what the team needs to establish a culture change.

Your QB has to be a leader and among the hardest workers on the team. If he isn’t, the team culture simply can’t be a positive one.
