It was Ray's Super Bowl. The officials were not going to make a late game call to change that no matter how obvious. We needed to put the ball in the endzone after that Gore run, but our playcalling was horrible.

I lose a lot of respect for Ray after this game. He was completely dominated from start to finish and then accepts a straight gift from the refs and cries and does his normal nonsense.

I guess you can exactly call it cheating. But breaking the rules with the knowledge that the refs won't call it knowing that it will possibly win you the game, is surely dirty.

Something we are not talking about here is Kaep's mismanagement of the play clock on our final possession. Harbaugh having to burn our 2nd timeout to prevent the Delay of Game ultimately cost us big. If we still had the that timeout we would have got the ball back with nearly a minute left in the game still.

Kap really needs to work on getting the plays out faster and doing a bit less orchestration when they don't have time for it. Not just the delays, but just using way too much time on almost every play when they were down big and needed to run as many plays as they could.
