Trying a long 47 yard FG on 1st down instead of keeping on running it to make it an easy FG. They were running it well on that drive and this offense doesn't turn it over much. Why not get closer? Worst blunder I've ever seen from a coach. Trestman is a MORON.

It's up there...but I'd say Marty Mornhinweg electing to kick in OT back in 02 to the Bears is worse. I also recall Schwartz doing something really dumb last year vs the Titans.

Not even close to the worst ever.
Considering our kicker (good as gold).
I've seen many bad decisions made by HCs over my 50 yrs. of watching football.
This doesn't come close.
Too bad Robbie missed it. No guarantee he'd make it from 37.Just sayin.

Link not working. But I got a feeling I can guess what you would be showing.

If you thought Herm Edwards scooping up the ball and running it back for TD you thought correctly as that was coaching decision by Giants. The more recent "miracle in the Meadowlands" was error by the punter.

I recall the original miracle when it happened.

The Cowboys abandoning the run after two gashing drives where all they did was run to open the game was worse than Trestman. At least the Gould kick wasn't cut-and-dry (though still a foolish choice for my money)...but Dallas was CRUSHING us with the run game last night before it mysteriously vanished from the play book. Bizarre in the extreme.

Eh... I'm pretty sure Robbie has missed something like one kick from inside 40 for his entire career. That's pretty damn close to be a lock. Especially indoors.
