KC has the worst home record of any WS team ever....
KC has the best start to a postseason at 8-0..... evah.
Actually I think that stat includes everything from WC play in game through the WS. Or am I mistaken?
Gotcha. Troof.I am not sure, but I think you may be right. But to go into the WS with an 8-0 record has only been possible for 3 years now.
The LCS started in '65(??) and the LDS started in '95 with the WC starting in '12.
Gotcha. Troof.
I'm still amazed at what this team has been able to do.
True, but to pick a nit...
8-0 has only been possible for 3 years now...
They haven't been knocked down yet. They haven't faced adversity yet. Lets see how Royal this team is when it loses a game. Its possible that they wont lose but I wouldnt bet on it.Of all 5 teams in the AL play-offs this year, the ONE team I did not want to face in the Series was the Royals. They have defense, speed and a bully. Those are scary to face in the post-season. The only thing that I think the Giants and Cards have a significant advantage in is the manager.
Of he two teams in the NLCS, I think that only the Giants have a chance, but I would still pick the Royals to take it (as much as it hurts to say that).
Raul Ibanez. End of list. How many Royals players were alive the last time KC made it to the WS?
How many Royals players were alive the last time KC made it to the WS?
I guess there is no pont in playing the series, then.
Just like there was no reason to play it in '10.
Just like there was no reason to play it in '12.
Every time I turn on MLBtv, they are doing a story on how amazing KC is, and there is a blurb about them facing the Giants. I love it. This exact type of thing happened in '10 and '12.
