He may just get an injury and play.
If he was out, I would think information would have been leaked
What if the results aren't going to be evaluated until this afternoon?

From Baseball America:

The Rangers are most likely to promote Ezequiel Duran from the taxi squad to take Garcia’s spot on the roster if he cannot play. Duran is primarily an infielder, but he did play 34 games in left field and one in right this season for the Rangers. Duran was one of the Rangers’ standouts of the first half, but his bat cooled dramatically as the season wore on.

But there’s also a far less traditional option who could potentially replace Garcia’s production—one the club at least has to ever-so-briefly consider: 2023 first-round pick Wyatt Langford.

This sounds crazy., but I like our chances in a bullpen game more than Arizona's. Those starters in the pen make so much difference.

Langford makes more sense since AZ knows little about him.

Duran has the experience but you may get somebody who can’t even make contact.

Garver listed as a possibility to receive a qualifying offer. At this point, that seems like a no brainer. Might as well get a draft pick for him if he leaves.

Furan’s bat didn’t just cool it went frigid and supposedly refused to listen to the coaches. He’s in a major doghouse that could get him trade this offseason.
And Langford is where? MiL is over and have not seen him anywhere around the Rangers

So I meant maybe Adolis can just get an injection

Reason I say he likely can play is things leak out
and yes something re a roster move leaks as well

I guess Bochy could be playing it shrewd.
But other thing to consider is he thinks he can play but maybe not today.
Well we have zero diagnostic results so I think it is not major

Unless Adolis suddenly is able to play tonight we will see Carter, Taveras and Grossman in the outfield. And if his injury is bad and they have to put on the IL, it will be Duran who gets added. Doesn’t mean he will play or bat

Believe that the only chance of them bringing up Langford is a emergency advancement but it would require that Adolis be put on the 10-day IL and with only a max of 4 games left the MLB probably would not allow it

If he has an oblique tear they will put him on the 10 day IL. Whether Langford gets called up is a different story.

QO will probably be $20.5M. Do you see anyone offering him that much? Garver would probably accept the QO before the ink was dry

The league found out that Duran couldn’t hit the Slider. Langford and Huff were actually seen at one of the postseason games.

Guys Gray threw only 30 pitches…I want to see him pitch AT LEAST one more game this series…maybe 2nd pitcher in after any of the starters of 5,6,7

He won't get that as an AAV, but he could very well decide he wants the safety of a multi year deal. Maybe a 4 for $64-68 million deal.
