You are right about good pitching trumps good hitting and I said in the beginning they have 3 good starters. Just hoping they are off their game tomorrow.

For me when I say good pitching is when a quality pitcher is on his game.
Eovaldi looked good until a lucky hit that bounced over his head and then Longoria hit a ground ball to 2nd that I thought was going to be a DP but Semien was playing by the bag and then with 2 strikes on Carroll he threw a fat pitch over the middle of the plate.

Marcus Semien is making 25 million dollars per year. He has batted leadoff in every Ranger game this season. He is woefully underperforming in the playoffs. He, more than any other player for Texas, is the reason the offense tends to struggle.

If he doesn't start doing what he was massively overpaid to do, like immediately, this series is over.

Semien, Taveras, Lowe, Jung and Heim need to pick ot up. We need at least 3 of those guys to start hitting up to their potential. I mean they have faced good pitching, but it isn't like Cy Young and Walter Johnson are pitching for the Diamondbacks.

Yes. We really do. It may be the key to the entire series since he would also be in line for a Gm 7. I just don't know if he's back yet.
Had he never gotten injured I would feel way more confident.

That's exactly how I am thinking. We really need a win tonight and it would be a great sign for a possible Game 7.
