Looks bigger than I was expecting. But then again the Type II was pretty small itself.

This was mine in the early 80's. Lots of fun until it blew a valve through the block.

Just so we’re clear, that is indeed Vettel in the photo with the nice shiny Aramco logo on his shirt.

Normally, I'd applaud the using of his position to bring awareness to social issues where they race. He wore a rainbow love is love shirt in Saudi Arabia for example. But he should probably sit this one out. I mean, it's tough to find things on the level of what Saudi and China are doing to protest in Canada, but for sure he should stay off oil when sponsored by Aramco. Maybe he could have been on the residential schools.

I don't think it's possible to handle this situation more poorly than Hockey Canada did. Let's take a look, oh right former Oilers clown Tom Renney is the CEO, that explains it.

Chaos at the start of the British Grand Prix

Big crash with a car going upside down through the gravel and missing going over the catch fence into the stands by about 4 feet.
Driver involved in crash got out of his car to help the guy who went into the fence and now he won't be able to re-start the race.
Race control threw the red flag immediately at the time of the crash because protestors actually got onto the track and would have been met with race cars at nearly 200 MPH had the accident NOT happened.
All the drivers who gained places at the start are getting put back into their grid positions for the re-start.
They have no idea how many more protestors there are

Driver who went into fence is okay.

Safe to say that the Halo system likely saved Zhou's life?

The roll hoop structure behind the driver collapsed on initial rollover. The weight of the car would have been on his neck.

I wasn't crazy about the halo at first but I was more concerned about the drivers getting out. It's saved many drivers, including the 7 time champ last season.

Roman Grosjean wouldn't have survived his crash either. And that one proved it didn't hamper drivers getting out of the car.

That is Zhou Guanyu's family who flew to England to watch him race in person for the first time since he left China.

If his surname was anything else, he'd be driving in Formula E.
Had two pretty good races since this. Had a good battle with Max at Silverstone and finished P6 today.

He’s obviously there because of his name but a lot of drivers are there for reasons beyond skill. I think he’s getting a lot better and when the car cooperates (and he doesn’t have to worry about damaging it and the team being unable to afford to repair etc) the results are gonna show it.

Fully half the grid is there because they bring money.

The Engine that Ferrari gave Haas looks pretty good. And less combustible than the one they are using themselves.
