My guess would be because CBus lead the league in fighting majors last year and the Sharks probably aren't dressing Desjardins or Murray. Pelech loves to throw the body and loves to fight so he should be entertaining if nothing else.

Matt Nieto had all three goals in BU's win tonight against Vermont. That gives him five goals and two assists in his last two games and 28 points (14 goals / 14 assists) in 32 games this season.

Danny O'Regan had two assists in the game giving him 29 points (12 goals / 17 assists) in 32 games this year.

Capgeek.com reporting the Sharks have signed Chris Tierney (2nd round pick last year) and Daniil Tarasov (Undrafted UFA) to ELC's. Tierney with 3 years $742.5k and Tarasov with 2 years $680k. Both contracts begin for the 13/14 season.

They had a tough 1st period but after that they were great. BU has to win the H-East chanpionship to get into the National Tourney. If they don't Nieto is likely headed to Worcester.

Hey Cmon, how do you see this year's draft class shaping up? Overall and compared to next year's, if that is even comparable yet. Is it a good year to horde draft picks and restock the prospect pool?

Just wondering if this is the draft where Doug should try to amass some picks and get some prospects into the system.

Just wondering if this is the draft where Doug should try to amass some picks and get some prospects into the system.

This draft is going to be one of the deepest in a while. I'd compare it to the 2003 draft class if not slightly better. There are about 12-15 sure fire picks then after that about another 30 players who probably deserve to be 1st round picks. Right now next years draft is shaping up to be a bit top heavy with a significant drop off in talent after the first 5-7 picks.

Yes, if you want to restock the prospect pool with quality this is the year to do it. That's the main reason many GM's with marginal PO teams regard their 1st round picks as untouchable.
