Florida State has had a virtual stranglehold on the ACC since their adoption in 1992. But the ACC team that has given them the most trouble is North Carolina State.
In the 22+ years of playing in the conference, the Wolfpack has won more games against the Noles, 7, than any other ACC team has. True, Miami has beaten them 10 times since 1992, but most of those wins were while Miami was still a Big East team. Since joining the ACC, Miami is 3-7 vs FSU.
Clemson is next with 6 wins against the Seminoles since 92, then:
Wake Forest 4 (surprisingly, and 3 straight from 06-08, which no one else has done except for Clemson)
Virginia 3
BC 3
UNC 2
VPI 2 (1 ACC Title game)
GT 2
Maryland 2
Duke has never beaten FSU, 0-19.
Syracuse has not beaten them since joining the league (0-3), and only once in their history, back in 1966.
Pitt is 0-1 in conference, only having started last season, but is 4-5 overall against the Noles all time.
Louisville gets their first crack at them as a conference opponent this season (6-6 all time).
