i dont think its an "obessive need" as much as it is frusterating to see people that know better say stupid shit- and then have them hide behind posts like turnups above when we all are not nearly as stupid as he would have us believe by acting like he didnt mean that post as a negative one. Give me a break.

If people were more concerned with the truth, than just letting perception confirm what hteir little brains want to see, you wouldnt see that happen NEARLY as often.

Speaking of stupid shit, how come you dropped out of the debate 2 nights ago over how the Tristan deal was a bad one, right after you got shredded for saying you'd get back to us after this summers FA signings (which has nothing to do with it).

Since you're an attorney now, maybe file some appeal as to why Love/Kyrie weren't picked as All Stars.

Give us your list of reasons again as to why Love is better than Bosh (who has been selected 11 years in a row) EVEN when playing with James/Wade.

Or you're wrong and apparently butt sore if anyone uses James in a reference that doesn't meet the standards of licking his ball sack.

I never, ever said he ordered any coach to be fired, but you can bet your ass that he never said to any GM to not fire that coach when the subject was brought to him.
I've got no problem with your post, I was just disagreeing and explaining why.

If I'm so wrong... what was the point of that post?

I agree with that last part. That is something I think we CAN safely assume... that LeBron wasn't strongly against the firing... because he has the power to Stop it.

Obviously the point was that I know all Cavs coaches and candidates read our posts and it was a friendly reminder that they should rent vs buy.

Well- i had about 5 posts on it- and the posts are STRIKINGLY similar to what that SAME argument has been for about 5 months. I will repost below because it seems that you have already forgotten:

Ed Davis is a career journeymen bench player who is on his 4th team in 7 years and has NOT ONCE broken 8 rebounds a game in a season.

Tristan Thompson, besides his rookie year, has AVERAGED 9 rebounds a year- for a career average approximately 10pts 9 boards. WHILE being- PROBABLY the 2nd best player on the Cavs playoff team that went to the Finals last season. He MIGHT be the best offensive rebounder in basketball - and is one of the very best bigs in the entire league at guarding and switching the pick and roll- which is extremely important in today's NBA- not too mention- he has athleticism and has finished some alley oops that Ed Davis only dreams of.

Its why Ed Davis is on his 4th team and has gone just went from rebuilding project to rebuilding project.

As Jack Nicholson said- Please, sell crazy elsewhere. All stocked up here.

As i said- which no one has addressed- Ed Davis is a journeymen backup NBA player who is jumping from rebuilding project to rebuilding project getting minutes in garbage time. He does not do one thing on an elite level. He is on his 4th team in 6 years. He has NEVER averaged 8 rebounds a year- something Thompson has done every year but his rookie year.

Thompson also got paid because he started and played in the playoffs and proved that he can step up in big moments. Ed Davis has not had one significant moment in his entire career. Thompson played like the 2nd best player on a team that got to game 6 of the Finals. Thompson is also one of the most mobile big men in the league- can play PF or C, and can switch on the pick and roll which makes him one of the most versatile bigs in the league.

Not only that- but Thompson never gets hurt, never complains about not getting the ball, works his ass off and is a great locker room guy- and is currently the NBA LEADER in consecutive games played.

Ed Davis makes his paychecks coming off the bench for 20 minutes a night on mostly crappy teams and no one really keeps him around because guys like him are mostly a dime a dozen- lotto picks that really never lived up to their expectations.

only 1 restricted free agent got an offer last year- Kanter-

and Thompson was asking for MORE than what other teams could even offer under the rules. If you remember- he told the Cavs- either sign me long term or i am leaving NEXT year. He was not leaving this year even if another team offered him a "max offer"- since that max offer from a different team was atually less than what he was asking for from the Cavs- which is hard to really wrap your mind around i know. Hence- a 6 month hold out to get an extra 2 million dollars (idiot).

this guy above just said TT is not getting any better....you just wonder what these people watch- i mean- are the playoffs so long ago that they just forget everything that happened? How freaking good this guy was- how all the commentators were gushing over him and how he effected the game---

and then they point to a decline in his points- A DECLINE IN HIS POINTS WHEN KEVIN LOVE AND LEBRON JAMES are added to the team. I mean- how do you even have a genuine debate with denseness like that?

when guys that are not nearly as good as him start getting a lot more money next offseason i will remind you of this..be sure of it. ;)

That help?

I have no problem with Kyrie and Love being left off- especially with MOST of the guys that did make it. Love is in the same boat with Horford and Gasol as really good bigs left off the team- and the guys that made it that were on the fringe- like Milsap- he DEFINITELY deserved it since he is having a GREAT seaosn. Kyrie hismelf said he didnt deserve to go after missing so many games. I am a LITTLE surprised because typically the conferences #1 team gets more than just one rep. If there are any injury pull-outs- i bet either Love or Gasol gest the call in the front court- and i mean- its kind of inevitable Wade drops out for injury again right? I bet Kemba gets his place- who should have been there anyway since Wade is having his worst year since probably his rookie year?

You have a terrible memory.
Its documented, and been told to you many times that I WANTED him to leave if him staying required annual opt outs.
I'll gladly support our current roster, and watch Riley rebuild and construct with players who are trying to figure it as group.
Him leaving has cost us ZERO championships and brought that same number to the Cavs.
By the time he's done fucking with Gilbert you guys will have been set back at least probably a decade from even smelling the playoffs once he leaves.
this guy just posted on a sports forum that hes happy LeBron left his team- and that LeBron going to another team is going to set them back.

speechless.

Nope
I wasn't at all involved the Davis debate.
Ours was totally different.
It was comparing the Cavs overpaying if it precludes them from improving vs some other team with cap space overpaying to hopefully try to improve.

Don't paraphrase.
I said I was glad he left if he needed the control that Gilbert gave him to stay.

And yes, you guys will be set back a decade, but nobody will care once James leaves.
Sort of how you became a Thunder fan after he left the
first time.

OHHO THAT ONE..lol

im sure that one has been gone over quite a bit too- but here is from LAST NIGHT

please tell me how much cap space the Cavs are going to enjoy with max contracts for Love, Irving and James.

This is what makes this so frusterating- and when i believe turnup is either trolling- or really just does not get it.

how in the name of fuck will thompson keep the cavs from signing free agents because of lack of cap space- when they are so far over the cap at this point that 14 million to thompson- when the cap is at its current levle- does not mean fuck.
Kyrie makes 16, Love 18, LeBron 22 - and thats RIGHT NOW- there salaries go up to get to their annual average values. If the cap is 60 million- which it is right- and there is a 15 million dollar difference between the CAP and the luxury tax line------ how the fuck is thompsons 14-16 million being off or on the books going to give the Cavs cap room to sign a player that could make a difference on the level that Thompson does?

the math just simply does not add up- and im not sure if turnup doesnt understand that- or refuses to understand that.

I didn't know Wade was injured.
Maybe ask the Bulls how injured he was a few nights ago?

If you're so certain though, how about a 14 day avi bet?

And Wade is having a pretty damn good year, and exceptional for a 34 year old.
Yes, his shooting % is down, but it's still not bad.
If anything, for this to be a 'down year', just proves how great his career has been.

would u agree this is the worst he has played since his rookie year?

didnt wade just miss games for a bum shoulder? you think a thats actually healed- or that he is just gutting it out since the rest of the team is injured? we shall see- i just said it beause thats what happened last year isnt it?

I'm not implying he did or didn't, but Riley's quote doesn't rule out anything other then James walking personally into his office and asking for him to be fired.

You guys either completely missed the obvious point I was making or chose to intentionally dodge it.

I never said LeBron didn't benefit from his coaches. Of course it goes both ways.

I love how providing an opposite point of view is "creepy". I've made plenty of posts conceding LeBron s involvement, accountability and troubled relationships with coaches so cut the bullshit about me having to refute every criticism.

I'm not going to apologize for my opinion especially when it's grounded in far fewer assumptions and backwards logic than yours.

Welcome to the world of sports forums Trojan... sometimes people are going to disagree with you.

You were trying to build Lebron up by claiming he's a "coachmaker." He's not. He's had issues with every single NBA coach he's had. However, the 1 coach who had the backing of his FO and actually coached him, led him to 2 rings.

It requires assumptions and backwards logic to claim Lebron is a "coachmaker" when there is so much evidence of the exact opposite.

Meanwhile, in Cleveland, the 2 coaches that went to the finals with him got fired to appease him.

The Cavs fans and Lebroniacs have become stalker level creepy in their need to argue/deflect/defend Lebron. Anytime anyone criticizes Lebron, it's guaranteed that Lebroniacs and Cavs fans will rush to his defense.

And  @ your "people are going to disagree with you" bullshit.
