oh LeBron was TOTALLY MIA- he had not been in contact with Gilbert for a long time before Brown was fired.

Whether or not he had been in contact with Gilbert or not, doesn't change the fact that he was still a Cav, even if in name only, and Brown was fired in an attempt to appease him and keep him in the fold.

Can't decide who I'm pulling for. My Mom is a Bronco's fan and I do enjoy giving her crap about the Bronco's, but one of my best friends is a Panthers fan and I love giving him crap about the Panthers.

I think it'll end up being the Bronco's because I wouldn't mind seeing Peyton go out like Elway and I can give my friend crap about it all year, I can only give my Mom crap during the game.

But it's probably gonna be a game time decision.

Man, Cam is turning out to be a very thing that I thought Cordell Stewart, Mike Vick would be.

It's gonna be a tough one for Manning.

OK. Lets' hear from everyone who wants to defend the Mike Brown firing. Or the Silas firing? Please come forward and tell us of the great injustice.

Anyone? Anyone?

if you are the Cavs would u trade Love for Giannis and Henson?

Oh, Dear.....

Yeah......

We have both been high on both those guys.

Love would probably slit his wrist...lol

I think you need another shooter.

A guy to play the Steve Kerr to Brons Jordan.

IF the Cavs actually shopped Love- which is not going to happen -especially because they want to see what he looks like with competent coaching---

but- who would be the hypotehtical teams interested?

I can think of a few:

Toronto - DESPEERATELY need a PF- but wed never trade him to our biggest competition

Milwaukee- need shooting badly- have a ton of athletes already- need a scorer- why not get the best big man scorer/shooter/rebounder in the entire league?

Houston--- would LOVE TO GET LOVE--- if your the Cavs- what would even interest you? Dwight and Ariza? Beverely, Ariza, Capela? i dunno

Boston-- he would be PERFECT on Bosotn- but we hate Boston- they do have assets

Lakers- why give up assets at beginning of the rebuild though?-- plus they dont have win-now pieces the CAvs would need

Portland- dont really have anything Cavs would be that interested in do they?

???? any other ideas?

and who knows if LeBron will actually continue to like Lue now that he is the head coach...itll be fascinating to watch....im just glad Griffin has made the whole locker room happy, and LeBron happy by moving on- and he took away excuses for the team which was really smart...

Agree with this. An assistant coaches chair may be right next to the head coach's chair on the sidelines. But the distance and pressure between those chairs is huge.

actually he wasnt a cav- even if in name only- he was an unrestricted free agent. just saying...however- if LeBron was like- ill come back if you fire brown- you think gilbert hesitates a second? obviously lebron was not coming back if the love child between Red Auerbach and Phil Jackson was hired to coach the team.

thats kinda been out there for a while...ever since the lebron came back bubbling under the surface...NOW THAT WOULD BE A FREAKING BLOCKBUSTER LOL....of course i dont see how either side would do it- or would even have the balls to do it.

Delly is shooting 43% from 3 and has a 3.3:1 assist to turnover ration ;) thats awful Kerr-like to me..... :)

All trolling aside, it would be great for the Cavs short-term.

Paul would get Love, Tristan eaaaaaaaasy buckets.

But, he is on the other side of his prime and Kyrie is just getting started.

and i think Scott knew what he was getting into- the Cavs first choice was Izzo- they reached out to him- offered him a huge contract- and if LeBron stayed he would have taken the job- he reached out to LeBron before accepting- couldnt get him on the phone- and read the tea leaves and stayed at MSU......once Scott saw that he had to have a clue what was coming down the pipeline.

it would be great short term - especially with Paul's leadership and defensive ability--- plus Paul is cantekerous enough and mentally strong enough to be an effective counter-weight to LeBron- hes not gonna let LeBron run over him we KNOW that.

I could make several arguments why Brown & Silas shouldn't have been fired. Problem is nobody would take any of them seriously.

Yep.

It would be a great trade for this Season and next.

But, you would regret it in year 3.....unless you got a Chip.

I hear all this stuff about how the Clips are gonna have to make decision after this season - blah blah blah - that if those core of Griffin and Paul doesnt do something they have to make a move

I kinda think that is total BS

its HARD to win a title- i dont know howit would get easiser trading one of those 2 guys- Dirk stayed in Dallas forever- and got 1 title- i na year when the league was down a little and it was worth it

I dont care if Paul and Blake dont win a title for the next 4 years -until Paul starts to decline i haveno clue whyd you trade either one of those guys.

The best thing Izzo did was turn that Cavs job down. I'm glad he stayed put in Lansing.
