Watching the CIN @ BUF game during lunch...the Bengals did line up with 5 DL a few times in this game which I found interesting but mostly their base 4 DL and 3 LB...lots of zone in coverage.

They played more man under Lewis.

Assuming they stick with this DEF, I expect them to roll the S to Juju, and mix in some pressure mixed if the edge boys are not winning.

BUF played mostly zone...if Butler does the same Eifert could kill'em with the intermediate stuff.

The Bengals have tried to solve their lack of linebackers by using 5 defensive lineman.... Keep in mind, guys like Sam Hubbard and Carl Lawson might be guys that could play a little outside linebacker, but they are d-lineman by trade. I think it confused Seattle and ultimately led to success. San Francisco destroyed us on the ground with this set up though. There's a reason more teams don't employ that look.

Assuming Zac Taylor has watched the tape of the SF game, CIN should pound Mixon 25-30 times in this game and maybe another 10-12 times run playaction.

Barron has to make some plays or the staff needs to go with UG3, but because of the green dot situation he will probably be in there.

Bush, needs to quit biting so hard on the playaction fake, but that will come with time.

Seems like a sub pkg more than anything...they didn't show it a ton vs BUF.

They need to send a message to Bud. Give more reps to Ola and hopefully Ola starts dominating. That should open his eyes a bit.
