Don't know much about Comrie but I don't think Fucale is going to steal any games for Team Canada. It will be interesting to see how he plays in his potentially future home arena and how he handles the media. I think this could be the tournament where he could prove his doubters either right or wrong once and for all.

Thoughts on Fucale aside, I find it very strange that they are only inviting 2 goalies. Surely there must be others at least worthy of a try-out.

I can't tell if Gauthier is a "we need role players!" move or a "we don't cut anyone that we've taken before" move. Seems like a stupid move either way. Could also be a "oh my god who else are we going to take from the Q?" move.

Yeah, I heard Bobby Mac on TSN last night saying that while he's not a lock for the team, he's s very good penalty killer and you know those IIHF refs will be making some strange calls on Canada (two minutes for checking too hard etc.)
