FWIW, I've read a few Gauthier-positive articles this season.

I'm not sure how anyone can be positive about a draft year + 2 player under a point a game in the Q. Looks to me a lot like we drafted a guy with 3rd line upside in the 1st round.

Yeah, I heard Bobby Mac on TSN last night saying that while he's not a lock for the team, he's s very good penalty killer and you know those IIHF refs will be making some strange calls on Canada (two minutes for checking too hard etc.)

So he's going to fill the Rob Zamuner role that every losing Team Canada needs to make sure is filled?

New York Rangers rookie forward Anthony Duclair will join Team Canada at the World Junior Championships later this month. The Rangers loaned the 19-year-old for the tournament, which runs from Dec. 26 through Jan. 5 in Toronto and Duclair's hometown of Montreal.
