so will it be a dumb question if he does indeed go elsewhere as I've heard some in the nFL want him

Just because other people speculate on shit doesn't make it so.....

Why would he even of taken that job if he was going to leave after one season? I really don't see him leaving anytime soon (within at least 5 years)

I'm just happy you've predicted Wiscy to beat Nebraska. :D

Obviously no with regards to the specific sanctions, but I'm sure he expected some of this.....

I'd like to know the record for teams that have backed their way into the CCG.

Probably not very good.

Gonna be tough for them to get right back up and go.

Nebraska has had a whole extra day for recovery/preparation and is riding the momentum of a 6 game winning streak.

Playing in a dome HUGELY favors Nebraska.

I wonder if Jared Abbrederis will be able to play as well. They never did say what happened to him. That would be a huge blow.

Nebraska fans are scurred.

Not only is it hard to beat the same team twice, but they are playing a team with nothing to lose.

LOL

NO

Not looking @ Game-trax anyway.

I doubt Nebraska spots Wisconsin 14 points and fumbles 6 times again.

Huskers have won 6 straight
Badgers have lost their last 2 (3 of their last 4)

These teams are going different directions.

I want Bielema fired.

Yes, I went there.

It's just ridiculous that Canada has these players and we haven't scored a point in 48 minutes. I do think this team should seriously consider firing Bielema and giving Chryst the head coaching job.

If Wisconsin can shut down Taylor like we shut down Braxton, we are gonna go to the Rose Bowl.

And to try to act like you are peaking after that pitiful 13-7 win over Iowa is laughable. We played better than you guys this weekend. This game is a pure tossup, IMO.

Two of their most recent championship-type games in domes haven't panned out too well for them...:popsnoidea:

You also played better than them for 3 quarters in Lincoln.

Only thing that worries me about Nebraska is a healthy Burkhead. We didn't do so good against a big tailback yesterday.

That and our special teams are atrocious.

Who said anything about peaking?

Nebraska winning it's last 6 has been consistent in spite of itself.

Wisconsin (4-4)(7-5)?

Lost to (Leaders) Ohio St (8-0)(12-0)
Lost to (Leaders) Penn St (6-2)(8-4)
Lost to (legends) Nebraska (7-1)(10-2)
Lost to (Legends) Michigan St (3-5)(6-6)

Did not play (Legends) Michigan (6-2)(8-4)
Did not play (Legends) N'Western (5-3)(9-3)

Here's Wisconsin's resume.

Win 26-21 Northern Iowa (FCS MVFC #7) (4-4)(5-6)
Win 16-14 Utah St (LOL WAC) (6-0)(10-2)
Win 37-26 UTEP (CUSA) (2-6)(3-9)
Win 31-14 Illinois (Leaders) (0-8)(2-10)
Win 38-14 @ Purdue (Leaders) (3-5)(6-6)
Win 38-13 Minnesota (Legends) (2-6)(6-6)
Win 62-14 @ Indiana (Leaders) (2-6)(4-8)

Utah St (WAC) was (although narrow) arguably Wisconsin's best win.

If you shut down Martinez you still have Burkhead, Abdullah, Cross, Burkhead, Cotton, Enunwa, Reed and Bell to deal with. We just have too many guns in our arsenal. I believe for this reason alone you will not shut down Martinez but if you did we simply go to our backs until our receivers open back up, hit them once or twice and go back to our run game.
By the way did you see Burkhead carry that pile 5 yards down the field against Iowa? When he decides he is gonna get yards he is gonna get yards.

I expect a good game and realize this could go either way but from what we have seen this year Nebraska is able to come back from huge deficits (and huge mistakes) while Wiscy has been unable to close.

This comment shows how little you know. This is not only a big game for Iowa in a good year it was their bowl game this year. Everyone knew they would bring their best. Then add in a 30 mile per hour wind and we became one dimensional on offense.

With that said Iowa was held to no scores after the opening drive, 200 yards in the game (60+ on first drive), 72 yards in the second half and unlike many games this year I was confident throughout the entire second half this game was ours. Pitiful is when people see a good defensive battle and determine the teams are pitiful because the score was not 70-63.

On a side note any word on Abbrederis' condition?
