That one's my fault. Was just trying to explain the beauty of the rivalry back in the day, but I should have known better.
Charles Barkley, Kevin Johnson, and Dan Marjele baby! Minus the championships.

I guarantee Jordan doesn't promise 8+ rings.

I guarantee the first one to sign up would be MJ if he played in this era. Talking about of most arrogant players ever, yeah he backed it up. But look at Lebron in postgame interviews and he is a TEAM first guy. MJ was all about HIMSELF. That's why The Decision was unlike him, he did it to win. And personally I don't think it was his choice at all. Other than that one thing he is not comparable to other players and what they have done.
You can't compare back then with today, times were so so different it is crazy to think about. But I am with you I liked the way the game was back then especially just the more physical aspect of it.
Barkley would make Martin his bitch...Jason Kidd, Kenyon Martin, Richard Jefferson puts them to shame.

Well that might be the single dumbest post I've read since joining SportsHoopla...
Michael Jordan on LeBron James' decision: I wouldn't have called Larry Bird, Magic Johnson - ESPN
And to give the Magic-led Showtime teams even more cred, the #3 winningest trio is Magic, Kareem and Byron Scott. They're one win ahead of Bird, McHale and Parish.
How does he not have respect for the game. He probably knows more about the history of the game more than most players. You might not think he is humble, but more humble than most people with the talent and spotlight he is in. And that slap to PG, proves my point.
He just wants to win, that is all he wants. It is ashame he gets criticized for just wantong to win more than anyone. Isn't that the goal from early on playing sports??
