and Serena has too many of those "nobodies" who usually give her a hard time! Won't it be something if Venus and Serena meet in the semis??? I think its wishful thinking though!

What are you afraid of? Is she not a champion? How come she cannot prove to be the world's # 1? You prove you are by beating everybody and anybody who matters.

At her advanced age to be forced to play at that level for several matches in a tourney is difficult. That's why players like Navratalova and others didn't win much after their early 30s. Thye were still the best players in the world at the time. To win the tourney you sometimes have to be that 4 or 5 times in less than 2 weeks.

This is really going to be quite a slam tournament. May the best win. This is where the tires meet the road.
