I said it last year that something was off with the players he was pulling in this last class.

Also the area Smart is from is not a well thought of area in Baton Rouge. When momma started throwing larger amounts of money around and then the taps not going to be good for the b-ball Tigers. LSU b-ball doesn't have the blueblood status like UNC, Louisville or others.

At least we have a good baseball team and today is the 1st day of spring football practice so not many locals are concerned about basketball even though they are ranked in the top 10.

Last I checked, he's still coaching and Zona has the #1 recruiting class next year.

Pat Forde has a nice large stick up his rear the entire year. Why? Because LSU isn’t a blue blood and is being accused of making payments.

Will Wade isn’t up for National Coach of the year due to this yet, Rick Barnes is in the same boat yet we hear nothing about him. Kansas staff is on the phone talking about a way to get Zion but we hear nothing about that.

Two wrongs don’t make a right, but lets drop the act, everyone does this. I have enjoyed every minute of this year whether asterisks come or not.

More than likely the Feds would look at it as a R.I.C.O. Act issue (bribery).

oh i agree, you take that shot, i guess that came out wrong. I think due to the fact that they are "prominent" but not like duke , UVA, Zaga prominent, that this can fester a bit until after the tourney
